Pokémon!! Chapter 2 By: Flareon
Chapter 2: Evee Evolves
Josh and William looked into Viridian Forest. There were a few Pokémon running around in the grassy areas. "Wow," Josh and William said in conjunction, as they looked in amazement into the Forest.
" Lets go get some Pokémon!" Josh said as he ran into the forest.
" Hey look over there," William said as he grabbed Josh by the back of the shirt. He fell over and got back up quickly and brushed himself off.
" Why did you do that?" Josh asked.
" Look," William said as he pointed toward a tree.
" Wow look at all those Pokémon!" Josh said as he stared at the tree with loads of Kakunas on it. He grabbed the Pokéball with Eevee in it. " Pokéball go!" Josh threw the ball and a bright flash blinded both Josh and William. When they both could see again, Eevee was out of his Pokéball looking at Josh waiting for orders, but something was different about the tree. The Kakunas looked like lifeless shells. All of a sudden there was a loud buzzing.
" Oh NO! The Kakunas have evolved into Beedrills. If I were you I would RUN!" William said as he started running.
Josh looked back just one to see if Eevee was following him, and he was. Josh could tell a Beedrill was coming close. He looked back and saw the Beedrill was trying to use its Twineedle attack on Eevee! " Eevee, Agility now!" Josh yelled back. In a quick blur Eevee was past him and catching up to William. Josh kept on running and then saw a sparkle in the corner of his eye, he looked to see what was there, but he stopped with a thump. Josh looked up and saw a Beedrill buzzing only a few inches off the ground staring at him. He jumped backward and stumbled on a rock. He fell with a thump. When he sat back up he looked around. William was beside him, and so was Eevee, and the uninvited guest were…BEEDRILLS! They were surrounded by Beedrills! Josh jumped up and looked at William. "What are we going to do?"
" I wish I knew," William said looking shameful. Josh looked down, but he saw that same sparkle in the corner of his eye. He looked in that direction, and saw a small red stone. It was only a few feet away from it. He walked over there and picked it up. He looked at it very closely, so closely he didn’t even see the Beedrill coming towards him.
"Josh, duck!" William yelled from behind him. Josh ducked. When he looked up again, the circle was formed again, and some hairs were falling to the ground. Josh felt the top of his head, he could instantly tell that his bangs had been cut even shorter than his mom cut them! Josh ran back over to where William and Eevee were.
" Look what I found," Josh said as he handed over to William. William stared at the stone in amazement.
" Wow! Where did you find this?" William asked, as he looked up again.
"Over there," Josh said as he pointed. William looked at the stone again. It was red, and looked as if it had fire frozen in it. William jumped, and the stone fell out of his hand and landed on Eevee, it stopped in midair with one end touching Eevee, went clear, and then fell to the floor. A bright flash soon lit the area. Josh and William shielded their eyes with their hands. When they looked down Eevee was gone. In his place stood a bushy haired dog. It was Yellow and Red. Josh took out his Pokédex and analyzed the Pokémon.
" Flareon," The Pokédex started out. " When storing thermal energy in its body, the Flareon’s temperature can soar to over 1,600 degrees."
" Wow," William said. " That must be a powerful Pokémon."
" Lets check its attacks," Josh said as he glanced over at the Beedrills. They were slowly moving in, not knowing how to handle this new threat.
" 1st attack," The Pokédex started out again as Josh pushed the attacks button. " Ember. 2nd attack Flamethrower. 3rd attack Quick Attack. 4th attack Fire Spin.
" Awesome," Josh said as he faced the Beedrills. " William, Lets get all our Pokémon out and attack the Beedrills." Josh threw the Pokéball with Rattata in it to the ground. Rattata came out in a bright flash and the Pokéball returned to Josh’s hand.
" Right," William said as he sent out his Oddish and Shellder.
