Chapter 3: The Battle!
" Quick Attack now," was the youngest Beedrill’s last thing it heard before it fainted. Josh and William’s Pokémon were fighting vigorously, but more and more Beedrills, Weedles and the occasional Kakunas, that would evolve as soon and the Weedles that were carrying them, dropped them on the ground.
" Wow, I’m extremely tired. Shellder Hydro Pump on that evolving Kakuna, try to stop it from evolving. Oddish, Vine Whip now!" William said as he yelled commands to his Pokémon. Shellder’s Hydro Pump attack smashed into the evolving Kakuna, it flew across the battlefield knocking into another Kakuna, making two Weedles carrying it faint. Both Kakunas smashed into separate trees, and fainted. Oddish’s Vine Whip hit each of a Beedrill’s stingers, and they both snapped close to half. Poison flowed out of the broken stinger onto the ground. It looked at it’s stingers one last time before it fell to the ground and fainted.
" Ya. I’m tired too, but we have to keep on fighting. We can’t lose," Josh said as he looked at his own Pokémon. They were both breathing heavily. Their chests heaving up and down. " Rattata, use your Hyper Fang attack, and Flareon, use your Flamethrower Attack. Rattata grabbed onto one of the Beedrills getting ready to attack Flareon, but the Beedrill knocked it aside with a Twineedle attack. "NO!!" Josh yelled out loud as he ran to help Rattata. Flareon nimbly dodged Beedrill’s attack and used his Flamethrower attack turning the Beedrill to a crisp of ash. "Good job Flareon," Josh said as he returned Rattata. Suddenly the Beedrills, Kakunas, and Weedles fled and flew, walked and slowly moved away.
" What the?" William said as he looked around. All of a sudden Williams Shellder fell face first to the ground. It had fainted, but why William wondered. He looked back and saw an Alakazam staring at him.
" Is that what I think it is?" Josh asked William as he too looked back.
" I..I…I…I…I.. Think so," William said. Suddenly Flareon and Shellder started to fly up and down smashing into the ground. Up and down, SMASH, Up and down, SMASH. Finally it stopped.
" Flareon Fire Spin attack," Josh yelled his command to Flareon.
" Shellder Blizzard attack," William yelled out. Shellder’s Blizzard attack hit first. Smashing snow into Alakazam. Once it had stopped, Alakazam looked all tired out. Then Flareon’s Fire Spin attack hit next, sending Alakazam into a tornado of Fire. A huge rush of wind hit the whole area, leaves were stripped from trees, and when it was all done, the Alakazam was gone!!
