Dear Linda,

On behalf of my friends and I from Morris, MN. We just want to thank you and to the rest of the committe/planners that held the "Missions Conference" last weekend at Bethany Missions College. Praise God and Halleluah!

We personally received from God in our different levels of our relationship. The "Great Commission" message really got me focuessed with a purpose in my current servant for Him through what He has called me to do in this season: youth minister: high school-college age. The other day, I shared what I learned with a group of youth pastors in Alexandria about "Great Comission" in what they do with their youth groups.

My friend and I who attended the conference are currently seeking God about a possible missions teams that we would like to plan. This afternoon that door of opportunity opened to us as an employee of mine invited me to a missions meeting. Their church in Cyrus (small town of 300 that is located 5 minutes east of here)hosted a meeting about a missions trip to an "untouched" town that is surrounded by an Indian reservation in Sascatchewan, Canada. They planned it for July this summer!

We'll do our best to keep in touch with you as a follow-up encouragement for your particular ministry. May God continue to bless you and your college's mission statement in aligned with the "Great Comission".

Sal and the Morris Team!

Salvador,
Yes, you can go to the website for Bethany College of Missions--www.gospelcom.net/bcom. There should be a popup window that shows updates, and the Missions conference was listed. I just went in there to check it out.

We have our Annual Missions conference going on Thursday the 21st, until Sunday, the 24th. The UnVeilinGlory seminar takes place on Saturday. Unless the 14 year old was with you, there isn't any programs for teenagers during the conference. We do have about 20 mission representatives from other missions who will have display booths during the conference, and yes, there is a great opportunity for networking then. Also at the workshops put on by the mission reps.

If you have any other questions, please let me know.
Linda

Hi Linda,

Is there a website that describes more about the conference. I did saw the itineary, but I'm still debating if this conference is for me (24 years old Filipino American, campus/youth minister at college rural town of Morris, have done mission trips rural town, inner city, nationwide, and Mexico-willing to serve God anywhere). I would like to also share valuable information from this conference to encourage college students at our campus. I'm wondering if there is a place for youth (14 years old) to be kept busy while I attend the conference? Will there be valuable networking opportunities? I apologize for the many questions, as I'm debating my 2 1/2 drive to the cities for one day (plan to visit my family and pick up some stuff in St. Paul) is going to be productive. I'll try to call you too. Thank you again for your immeidate response!

Servant for Christ,

Sal:)
