Mexico Trip 2001

Welcome to my online photo album.

I'm going on my first ever out of the country mission trip to Mexico from Sat. May 19th-Sat. May 26th. I've been waiting for God for this opportunity, and He has shown my it was time to go! I'm doing this for my first love-Jesus, who I want to continue the work He started before He ascended to Heaven and finshed when He comes back!

Who's going?

I'll be going with Dan Specht (UMM Grad 00'), Chrystal Gilbertson (UMM Grad 01'), Catherine McDade (UMM Grad 01'), Mr. Gilbertson, Beth & Becky Odegaard (Morris High School age), Mary ? (UMM Grad 01'), and ? (UMM Student).

Where?

We will be flying to Phoenix,AZ and take a rental van to Nogales, AZ to meet with the church that will be hosting us. From there, we'll be crossing the U.S./Mexican border to Nogales, Sonora-Mexico and another nearby village.

What we'll be doing?

We are distributing basic necessities that "us Americans" sometimes take for granted: food, clothing, bibles, etc... to needy children ("hijos"). Also, we'll be entertaining children there with games, facepainting, and all sorts of fun things to share to joy/laughter of knowing Christ!
