Escape To Witch Mountain (1975)

Young orphans with supernatural powers, Tony and Tia (Kim Richards and Ike Eisenmann), are searching for their mysterious roots and suffer many mishaps along the way in this Disney thriller. First, a mad man, Aristotle Bolt (Ray Milland), who wants to use their powers to become invincible, holds them captive. Then, after escaping, they are pursued by Bolt and the police who are convinced the children are witches and therefore are from a strange, remote place the locals call Witch Mountain.

With the aid of a stranger they meet along the way (Eddie Albert), and their magical powers, the children follow a curious map they found in the strange metallic case that Tia carries. She is convinced the map - and the mountains it leads to - are the key to their lost identity.
