He is
fairer than the Lily
more
lovely than the rose;
He's worth
more to me
than anything for through
me His love over
flows!
There
are times when I have
failed Him but He never
turns away from
me;
He's
everything my heart
desires and all I long to
be!
He is with
me every moment
of every passing
day;
He
is with me in the sunshine
and when the skies are cloudy
and
gray!
At times I
have forgotten
Him and gone my willful
way;
But He
never stopped loving
me although I had gone
astray!
When my
life began to crumble
and
lay in ruins at my feet;
He lifted
me from out of the pit
and
saved me from my own self
defeat!
Now I'm
walking in His
pathway and from it I'll not
ever stray;
He has given me the strength I
need and shown to me a better
way!
