Final Fantasy VI - Story
Final Fantasy VI (also known as FFIII here in the U.S.)is about an empire bent on taking over the world by using a force known as "Magic". "Magic" has been dormant for over 1000 years since an ancient war happened between humans and Espers (or Phantom Beasts, as in FFVI's Japanese Counterpart), which also set mankind back 1000 years technologically. The story focuses on a 1/2 human, 1/2 esper character named Terra (or "Tina") ad her struggles to find her way through life. Used be the Empire as a biologial weapon, she had no control over the actions that she had taken against the Empire. Rumors were that she had taken out 50 of the Empires best soldiers in a matter of moments, then was captured by Kefka, a servent to Emperor Gestahl (Ghastra, if you going by the Japanesse Version) She is then made to serve the Empire, and helps them to grow massive power, and also rule the world with Magic, and Tyrrany. A small group of Resistance, known as the Returners, strives to fight the oppression that the Empire has caused. Now, as an Esper was found in the Coal Mine City of Narshe (Narche), the Empire hopes to get this Esper and Continue to grow its power.....Can those in power be on the verge of entering the world into another war that could change the fate of Humanity again??
