SO YOU SAY

So you say you're an Atheist, you just can't believe
And you think you are master, of all that you see
Well then, may I ask, do you know who you are
When you look to the Heavens, and see a bright star?

Have you ever encountered much good in one day,
When even, your thoughts, can't explain the blessings away?
Do you ever look deep, into a small child's eyes,
And feel a spirit presence, right by their side?

So you say you're an atheist, that you're merely here
Well, how did that happen? Your beginning, my dear?
I know your answer will be, nature played the part
But where did nature come from, do you know in your heart?

Does your heart ever break, or ever been at wits end
Who then, do you call on for comfort, my friend?
If we're all our own masters, of our own destiny
Why then do miracles, just NOT cease to be?

Can you honestly say that your here just by chance
And your existence in this world, is all happenstance?
Have you ever wondered about God, when there's no hope?
And if you do not, what allows you to cope?

We've all been given freewill, this is true
And God gave this gift, to all, and to you
You may be prestigious, and carry much clout
But who do you ask, for help, when you doubt?

Test your spirit, be sure of your path
For in the end, eternity will last
You can spend it in Heaven, or Hell, that's your choice
So be sure of your decision, and be sure of your voice

God will reward all with what's coming to them
You'll spend eternity in Heaven, or meet your fiery end
It's all up to you, what you will believe
But when this life is over, there'll be no reprieve
