TEARS OF INNOCENCE
Tears of Innocence are hard to view
When little ones sob, it gets to you
You wonder what could be so bad
When in their small heart, they should be glad
They haven't yet lived a full life, you see
Whatever could make them sad, what can it be?
Do they live in fear, from day to day,
Could something be a bother, they just cannot say?
Little eyes welling up, with tears that fall,
What can be hurting them, for they are so small?
God knows their heart, and wish this day
If it's something bad, He will take it away
Listen to these little ones, watch them well
Study them always, body language will tell
When something's not right, in their little life
You may be able to help, to put their little world right
Tears of Innocence, so sad, and heart breaking
You want to help stop, whatever in them is aching
Send up prayers for the little ones, send many this day
Ask God to protect them, from all that will fray
Pray God will keep them safe from harm
So their little life will be filled with charm
For they are the Kingdom, of Gods Holy place
You see a glimpse of Heaven, in each tiny face
