“Yes,” Luna agreed, “Now I will finish
my tale.”

“So Sailor Nova is in suspended
animation at the Time Gate. She is very
powerful, and to maximize her power in
little time we will have Sailor Moon use the
Silver Crystal on her after we revive her
from her slumber. I will tell you how to do
that. Transform!”

After they transformed, Luna arranged
the Senshi like this:

The first line was ten feet from the
Sacred Fire. Pluto was the only one in the
first line, since she would convey most of
the power to revive Sailor Nova. She
poised her staff, and gritted her teeth.

The second line directly behind Pluto
consisted of Uranus, Saturn, then Neptune.
Since the participants of the first and second
lines were keepers of talismans (excluding
Saturn, however her powers were just as
essential as the other outer senshi), Luna
needed them in front. For once, Sailor
Moon was not needed as a major source
and director of power.

The third line was of Sailor Moon,
Mars, and Mercury. The fourth line included
Venus, Jupiter, Chibi-Moon and Tuxedo
Kamen. The arrangement of the third and
fourth line weren’t relevant to the success of
the revival, so the five inners, Chibi-Moon,
and Tuxedo Kamen had arranged
themselves.

Luna jumped into the air,
somersaulted, and there materialized a
white-gray spherical crystal on the floor.
She placed it in front of the Sacred Fire and
then instructed the Senshi.

“Put all of your energy into this
attempt! Direct your thoughts either to
Pluto, or Nova herself. From this crystal she
will appear, so Pluto, aim your staff and the
energy that will flow out of it toward the
crystal. Good luck Sailor Senshi!”

With that, she and Artemis backed
away. Shouts rang through the temple.

“Pluto Planet Power!”

“Uranus Planet Power!”

“Saturn Planet Power!”

“Neptune Planet Power!”

“Moon Crisis Power!”

“Mars Power!”

“Mercury Power!”

“Venus Power!”

“Jupiter Power!”

“Moon Prism Power!”

Respectively colored auras surrounded
the Senshi, Tuxedo Kamen supporting the
inner senshi, and Pluto was hit with the
force of all the energy.

Pluto’s garnet staff glowed metallic
white, and planet energy could be seen
flowing out of it, to the crystal. The crystal
rose from the floor and hung in midair,
suspended by energy.

The crystal glowed dark gray slightly,
flickering back to more light of a color every
so often.

It needs more power, Pluto realized.

“Dead Scream!” Pluto shouted. To the
Senshi it was more of a command than
Pluto’s attack. They all followed suit.

“World Shaking!”

“Silence Glaive Surprise!”

“Deep Submerge!”

“Moon Gorgeous Meditation!” Sailor
Moon and Chibi-Moon shouted together.

“Mars Flame Sniper!”

“Mercury Aqua Rhapsody!”

“Venus Love and Beauty Shock!”

“Jupiter Oak Evolution!”

Tuxedo Kamen took a rose out of his
inside breast pocket and threw it, gently, at
Pluto’s staff. The staff glowed with the
Senshi attack and rose energy that was
being directed to the crystal.

A misty form was now materializing
around the crystal. Luna had not given
much details as to Sailor Nova’s
appearance, and the Senshi were anxious
to see what she looked like.

As the Senshi and Tuxedo Kamen
continued to call forth more and more
energy, Sailor Nova’s figure began to take
on real form. There was shape and
definition to her body, contours. There
were colors, her short hair was a light green
that shined blond in the light,and her eyes
royal blue. Pale skin, and a suit like the rest
of them, the bows faded red, the skirt and
sash a silver gray. She was Sailor Nova,
the Senshi of exploding stars. Her suit,
(which, Luna noted, had changed since she
had been in the time gate), reflected her
essence, she was the Senshi of black holes.
The Senshi from the Time Gate that no one
remembered at all, save for Luna and Pluto.
All the Senshi’s efforts had not been in vain.
Their ally was upon them. They stopped
lending energy and simply stared.

As her form took fully to the world, the
crystal left her body. It inserted itself into
her brooch locket. Sailor Nova collapsed on
the floor, she had been in deep hibernation
at the Time Gate, and wasn’t quite herself.

Luna commanded Sailor Moon to heal
Nova with the Silver Crystal. As Moon
prepared to do this, Sailor Uranus and Pluto
took opposite sides of the fallen girl, and
laid her on her back so she wouldn’t be in
pain when she awoke.

“Moon Healing Escalation!” cried Sailor
Moon, her ginzuishou lay in her open
hands, then rose into the air. Its energy
spread over Sailor Nova’s body. Nova
wasn’t injured, so the healing didn’t drain as
much energy from Moon as she had
anticipated.

Once the healing was completed,
Sailor Nova opened her eyes to the future
for the first time. She smiled and lifted her
hands to Sailor Moon’s face, which returned
the smile.

“Princess Serenity?” Sailor Nova
whispered, having been in hibernation in
the Time Gate, she wasn’t yet aware that
she was in 20th Century Tokyo, not the
Silver Millennium.

“No,” Sailor Moon said as she replaced
her ginzuishou, “I’m Sailor Moon. The fall of
the Moon Kingdom has already taken place,
it’s the 1990’s.”

Sailor Nova looked confused for a
moment, then spoke.

“Right after I awoke from hibernation,
before I psychically awoke, I thought at first
I was back in your court. I dismissed the
thought and referred back to the visions of
Crystal Tokyo I frequently had during my
long sleep. Now I see it is neither of those
time frames and I’m quite at a loss of
words.”

“It’s ok,” this time the voice was that of
Luna. “Your mission is to help us dispel a
new evil that has taken us by storm. I
know you are having doubts now, but you
are our strongest Senshi. Look at me, and I
will transfer information about this century,
and everything we know at the moment.
This is all I can do to fill you in on your, and
our, mission.”

“All right,” Nova replied, and as she
did, Luna’s crescent moon forehead
glowed. Nova stared deep into it for a
minute, then pulled back. “Wow, so much
has gone on, I don’t see how I’m going to fit
into it all.”

“You have to,” Sailor Uranus stood up,
seemingly she remembered Sailor Nova’s
strength and courage from the past and
equated it to her own, “We all have such
faith in you, and what you have already
done for us.”

“I will help you as best as I can,” Nova
pledged, “But this is all so new to me...I’m
going to need a few days to rejuvenate my
strength, during that time I’ll have to work
with someone on looking into a logical
‘battle plan’ so to speak,” Nova looked
around the room, “Anyone willing to take
me in?” She smiled, and the rest of the
Senshi did the same.

“About how old are you?” Jupiter
asked.

“She’s 16, the same as Neptune and
Uranus,” Pluto said, not replying to Jupiter,
exactly, but addressing everyone in general,
“You’ll remember she was this age in the
Silver Millennium, and her hibernation in the
Time Gate caused her to stay this age.”

“So,” Uranus continued, “You’d be in
the same grade as us, but where you
choose to live will decide if you go to
Mugen Guiken, or Juuban Highschool.”

“Like I said before,” Nova answered,
“Whoever takes me in will be the deciding
factor.”

Uranus spoke again. “Nova, come live
with Neptune and myself,” as she said
Neptune, she looked somewhat
disenchanted, remembering how Michiru
had started dating a boy, but she continued,
“You’ll go to Mugen Guikan with us and
Saturn, and we should be sufficient enough
to help you organize a rough plan of action,
not to mention you’ll have quite a bit of
protection.” She rested her hand on Sailor
Nova’s shoulder and looked at her with a
slight longing. Nova nodded, and headed
for the door, shadowed by Uranus.

“So it’s decided then,” Pluto remarked,
“Sailor Nova shall take up residence with
Sailor Uranus and Neptune, and will attend
Mugen Guikan. Good luck,” with that, she
started her reverse transformation. The rest
of the senshi did the same, and shortly
afterward, they parted ways.

Haruka and Nova were the last to
leave. Michiru had left, talking with Makoto
a few minutes previous. As Haruka and
Nova walked down the streets of the
Juuban district, no one spoke a word. Then
something hit Haruka. They hadn’t learned
Nova’s real name. The last time frame she
had existed in was the Silver Millennium,
when all the senshi were known by their
planets, so it was possible, she reasoned,
that Nova didn’t HAVE a name. At any rate,
Haruka wanted to find out.

“Nova,” she addressed the girl in a
whisper, as not to give out her identity, “I
just thought of something. You didn’t tell us
what your name is,” Haruka looked over at
the olive haired girl.

“Oh I see...my civilian ID,” Nova said
thoughtfully, “Well it’s true, I don’t have one
on this planet.”

“Well to register at High School, you
have to give them a name...” Haruka
replied.

“I know that,” Nova replied, almost
annoyed at Haruka pointing out the
obvious, “I’m not saying I don’t have a
name other than Nova, I’m just saying,
since I wasn’t reborn on this planet, I
haven’t been named HERE by anyone.”

Haruka blushed. “Oh
yeah...well...then what IS your name?”

Nova smiled. Not many people knew
her name, as it was given to her on her
home star, and she didn’t have a need for it
in the Moon Kingdom. However, she
guessed she would have to tell the senshi,
and why not tell Haruka now. “My name,”
she sighed, “Is Alihstarr, named after the
goddess who ruled my star.”

Haruka nodded. “I see...Alihstarr...it’s
very beautiful.” She looked toward the
other girl, who was staring at the ground.

“I know it’s a rather outlandish name,”
Alihstarr laughed softly, and turned to
Haruka, flashing the peace sign, “That’s
why you can call me Al if you want,” she
smiled. Haruka returned laughed, and they
continued to the townhouse of Haruka and
Michiru.
