To do this for free, you have to get AOL instant messanger's latest version which is available by clicking the appropriate button below . After you download it, make sure the person who you want to talk to has also downloaded the same software, then just make sure you have a microphone and press the talk button. The big advantage to this is that you don't have to give your phone number out to people who you met online unlike dialpad which could leave you prone to psycho hose beasts who repeatedly call you every two seconds. Believe me it's not fun (personal experience), so don't give your phone number out to people who you dont know in person. You can also try Net2Phone and just call people instead of letting them call you.

This is a trick that you must see to believe. Simply click on the link below.

This service used to be free, now they let you have a three month trial, which I would recommend. This program works by notifying you of who called you while you're on line. It works real-time. click the banner below it will open up in a new window. Don't be fooled by AOL's call answering service, they charge alot of money per month. I've heard nothing but bad things about their service. This service is cool and has been used by TaKiDo.com since 1999. This program lets you actually hear peoples messages while you're online. It even lets you know exactly when people call you and their telephone number. Just click on free messanger. This is better than a second phone line and it's free!

This is an interesting trick that I invented. If you sign up for an AOL free trial, they will allow you about 45 days or 3,000 hours to use AOL for free. At the end of your trial period or the end of your hours you have to call and cancel or continue to receive the service for $23.99. If you call AOL and tell them that you did not like their service, they will offer to give you another three months of service for free. At the end of the next trial period they provide, just tell them you do not like the service again, and they will offer to extend your trial period. I once did this and ended up with a years service for free.

Okay, here's the best way to find out if someone's hacking into your computer. I found out 3 years ago someone was into my computer and browsing through my files but I was a newbie and didn't know how to stop him or anything. This is pretty simple: First find your MS-DOS prompt and type in "netstat" and then press enter it will show you all the active connections to your computer and their ip addresses. If you do this alot and find out there's some suspicious ip numbers connected you might want to get a firewall and some anti-virus software. The firewall and anti-virus software I use can be found here: Best Antivirus and Firewall

Type this code into your profile: < a href= aol://1391:text here/> Profile Text here </h7> This makes a link in your profile to a pop-up box with your own text in it. Use the New Category code for added spaces. You can use up to 15 characters in the pop-up box.

All you have to do is copy and paste this code into your profile: < body . aolmailheader>

Open up a command prompt, type netstat, but don't hit enter. Open up a chat window with the person whose IP you want to determine. Now initiate a direct connection in the manner of your choosing: attempting a file transfer, a direct connect, talk, whatever. Go to the command prompt and hit enter, you'll see a bunch of numbers pop up. If you can't tell what your target's IP is from there, you weren't meant to know it in the first place :)

Make an AIM name that is the same as your AOL screen name, log on to AIM using the same AIM name, go to "Edit Options" under "menu" or "my aim", then select "Format Screen Name", change your name's Uppercase, lowercase, or spacing. Anyways, if you feel like acting like an idiot in a room, you can make everyone's ignore on you reset by re-entering the room. If you are ever gagged, it will allow you to type things into the chat room, but it never shows up on anybody's screen. You will not be able to use chat for the time specified, and it will be disabled from any room you enter.
