"So Sailor Moon will bring the fight to me" Said Queen Moleen. "Hmm. Slar! Come forth! You are the strongest of my worriers. I want you to defeat Sailor Universe. But leave Sailor Moon alone."
He bowed and walked away.
"I'm still freezing!"
Sailor Universe chuckled at her childish comrade.
"Forget the cold. Keep your mind on Darien and the Scouts."
"Right, Darien and the Scouts…. It's not working! I'm still cold!"
Sailor Universe looked at Sailor Moon.
"Then Princess, use the Silver Crystal. Think about its' energy flowing through you."
Sailor Moon closed her eyes and this White light appeared around her.
"Your right. I feel warm." Sailor Moon opened her eyes and looked at Sailor Universe. "Thank you Sara."
"Remember Princess. There will come a time when you think all hope is lost. Close your eyes and think of this same energy. But think of me among with it."
Sailor Moon looked at Sailor Universe.
"Why are you telling me this?"
Sailor Universe turned her head and looked at a light that was glowing in the distance.
"I must go to battle."
Sailor Moon drew a panicked expression.
"NO! That's what happened last time! They left me alone! They died! I won't let it happen again! I can't let you and them die again!"
Sailor Universe grabbed her by the shoulders and lifted her face to hers. She reached into her shirt and pulled out a golden chain with half of a Star on it. She held it out to Sailor Universe. Back at Sara's house Jay looked at the ceiling. He held out the other half of the Star and in a flash of light it disappeared. It reappeared in Sailor Moon's opened hands.
"When you need me just take this out and wish for my help. I will be there for you."
She turned in the snow and walked towards the glowing light. Sailor Moon watched Sailor Universe. A single tear raced down her cheek. She looked towards a mountain and continued her long journey.
She was almost there. She could see the figure that was producing the light. She stood ready for battle. The figure stared at her then gave a monstrous laugh.
"So, I finally meet the infamous Sailor Universe. I have herd much about you. It will be a great victory for Queen Moleen if I kill you."
"It won't be that easy."
He shot this black ball at her. She dodged and threw her own attack at him. This went on for a couple of ours. Then he just stopped and smiled at her. She glared at him. "This was entertaining. But I have a Princess to kill."
He disappeared leaving behind his laugh echoing in the endless void.
"NO!"
Screamed Sailor Universe. She ran towards Sailor Moon. She didn't know where she was going, but she new she needed to keep going in this direction. Far off in the distance she saw lights flashing. She sped off toward the flashing lights. When she got there she saw Sailor Moon on the ground. The man shot a gigantic ball of energy at her. Sailor Universe ran in front of her and took the full blast.
"Nooooo!" screamed Sailor Moon.
Sailor Universe fell to her knees. Sailor Moon was about to run to her side when Sailor Universe told her to stay back in a harsh voice. Sailor Universe stood up slowly. She pulled out her Star Staff. A Rainbow of colors gathered in the middle of the Star that was on top of the Staff.
"Universe Solar Stars Burst!"
The energy left the middle of the star with a big blast. Tiny Stars circled the man until a dome formed around him. The Stars turned different colors until they turned Gold. A big blast occurred and the man was gone along with a chunk of the ground. Sailor Universe fell to the ground. Sailor Moon ran to her side.
"No! No! You said you would be there for me! You can't die! I won't let you!"
"Serena… I will …always…be there… for you."
A tear slipped from Sailor Moon's check. Sailor Moon hugged Sailor Universe's limp body. Tiny Stars surrounded Sailor Universe's body then she disappeared. Sailor Moon looked on in disbelief. She got up and started to walk towards the entrance to Beryl's Old Kingdom.
His eyes opened. A sharp pain in his side hit him. He cried out in pain.
"Are you alright?"
He looked at the owner of the voice. It was Sailor Jupiter.
"Is everybody here?!"
"Venus."
"Mercury."
"Mars."
"Saturn."
"Neptune."
"Pluto."
Everybody waited for Uranus and Moon's answer. But it never came.
"Sailor Moon and Uranus must have escaped," said a relieved Tuxedo Mask.
"But she will be joining you soon."
Everybody looked at a light that was coming from a doorway.
"Who are you!" cried Sailor Saturn.
"I'm Moleen new ruler of the Negaverse. That was my sister, Beryl that you killed. I promise you though I will win this time. The Moon Princess will die first. She will try to defeat me but her efforts are pathetic."
All the Scouts and Tuxedo Mask ran towards her but the chains stopped them.
"Don't worry you will be joining her soon enough. And when you see Sailor Universe tell her I said Hi."
Queen Moleen walked off with a smile on her face. Everyone looked at each other with their mouths gaping open. The door shut with a shrieking sound and all was quiet and dark.
She could tell she was almost there. She could feel her Friend's presents. She went through the unguarded doorway and ventured into the unknown. There was a foul stench in the air. The air was old and crusty. She looked into cells that were empty. She came to a locked one and struggled to get it open. When she finally did she nearly dropped at what she saw. Jedite was still frozen in ice. She walked up to him and stared at his eyes. They were full of fear and sorrow. She placed her hand on the frozen substance. The Silver Crystal started to glow. Slowly the Substance started to crack. An explosion occurred and Jedite fell to the ground uncontious. Sailor Moon ran to his side. He opened his eyes and looked at her. When he realized who was holding him he flung himself away from her.
"What……..d…do…you….want?" he stammered.
Sailor Moon looked at him.
"Are you alright?" she asked with concern present in her voice.
"Why.. do..you..care?"
"Because you're hurt and cold."
She moved closer to him but he moved away from her. She grabbed his wrist with a frown on her face.
"Hold still and stop being childish. I'm not going to hurt you."
"It's your..fault..I was..placed here."
She looked at him.
"What do you mean?"
"Beryl put me here..because..I couldn't defeat you."
He looked at her and was surprised to see her crying. She flung herself on him and gave him a big hug.
"Oh Jedite you've been here this whole time! I'm so sorry if only I had known I would have released you. I'm sorry this had to happen to you."
He didn't know what to say. She was crying because he had gotten punished. She let him go and placed her hand on his chest. He moved back a little unsure if he should trust her. She looked at him and gave him a reassuring smile. Once again she placed her hand on his chest and the Silver Crystal started to glow. The White light flowed through her hand and into his body. He felt warm. When she was finished he looked at her with a stupefied expression.
"Why, why did you do that?"
"Because, everyone no matter how evil they are deserves a second chance."
"Thank you."
Her smile was gone and replaced with a sorrowful look.
"What's the matter?"
"Queen Beryl's sister has captured the Sailor Scouts and Tuxedo Mask. I am on my way to fight her but I don't know where to find her." She started to cry. "I need to make sure the Scouts are Ok before I go to fight her, but I don't know where they are."
He wiped away her tears and gave her a smile.
"Don't worry. Beryl's sister will be in the Throne room. Just keep following the steps. They will lead you to her. As for the Scouts leave them to me."
She looked at him with a worried expression.
"Promise me you will not hurt them Jedite. Give me your word as a General."
"I give you my word."
He helped her up and they walked to the end of the passage and were about to part ways when Sailor Moon grabbed Jedite's arm.
"Uhh, well there is one thing I almost forgot to mention. There are four more Scouts."
He looked at her shocked.
"Oh."
"But there is only three that are captured."
"Who are they?"
"Saturn, Pluto, and Neptune."
"I need something to let them know I'm on their side. They won't believe me."
Sailor Moon thought for a while.
"Tell them the Moon Princess herself has order them to trust you."
"The Moon Princess? You found her?"
"Yes. Get going. We don't have much time."
They took off running in opposite directions.
"Then when she comes back…."
"Shhh. Some one's coming."
Footsteps could be heard echoing from a distance. Then they got closer until they finally got to the doorway. The door opened with a loud shriek and in stepped a man with blonde hair and wearing a Grey uniform that looked tethered.
"Je - Jedite?!" screamed Sailor Mars.
He looked at her for a moment then walked towards Sailor Mars. He bowed to everyone's astonishment.
"Please forgive me Sailor Mars. I come to you to ask for forgiveness."
"Why should we forgive you? You wanted to destroy the earth."
Jedite looked at Sailor Mercury. He cleared his throat and walked towards her.
"The Moon Princess has commanded it."
Everybody gasped.
"You lie!" cried Sailor Mars.
"What have you done with her!" demanded Sailor Saturn.
"I don't know what you are talking about? I haven't touched her. It was Sailor Moon who told me to tell you that. She is the one who freed me!" he yelled back.
"Quiet!" Everyone looked at Sailor Mercury. "He is telling the truth."
"How can you tell?" asked Sailor Neptune.
"Because he shouldn't know if the Moon Princess was found or not."
Everyone looked at each other.
"That's right. He disappeared before we found the Moon Princess." Explained Sailor Mars.
"Where is the Moon Princess?" asked Tuxedo Mask.
"What do you mean? Isn't she safe?"
"You don't know?" inquired Sailor Mercury.
"Know what!" he cried.
"Sailor Moon is the Moon Princess." Answered Sailor Mars.
Jedite turned pale and looked like he was going to faint.
"What's the matter?" pondered Sailor Venus.
"I just told Sailor Moon where to find Beryl's sister. She is on her way to fight her now."
She stepped into a dark cavern. In front of her was an all to familiar chair. Sitting on it was Queen Moleen.
"So, we finally meet. You are the one Sailor Universe failed to protect."
"She tried her hardest to protect me." Replied Sailor Moon in a cold tone.
"Oooh. Did I strike a nerve?"
The Queen got down from the Throne and walked towards Sailor Moon. She opened her hands and shot this powerful black wave of energy at her. Sailor Moon pulled out her staff and threw her own attack.
"Moon Loving Hearts Crush!"
Tiny Hearts collided with black waves. An explosion occurred and Sailor Moon was throne back. The Evil Queen kept hurling her energy at Sailor Moon. One blast broke the chain that held the Star around Sailor Moon's neck. It fell to the floor. Sailor Moon looked at it. Her bruised body covered in some of her own blood laid across the ground. She slowly reached her hand to pick it up. The Queen kicked it out of her reach and picked her up by her throat.
"You see, in the end Evil does win."
She threw Sailor Moons body against the wall. Sailor Moon looked at the Queen. She heard footsteps. No her friends. They were coming to save her. She can't let them get taken. She tried to lift her self up, but she fell to the ground. Just when she was about to give up she remembered Sailor Universe's words.
"When you think all hope is lost, then think of the Silver Crystal. Feel it's energy flowing through you, but think of me with the energy."
Sailor Moon closed her eyes. Visions of her friends flashed in her head. She thought of how Sailor Universe saved her life. The Silver Crystal started to glow. She was floating in the air. The Queen looked at Sailor Moon. She rose from her seat and directed towards Sailor Moons floating body. Her attack was reflected back at her. Sailor Moon was surprised to see, Rain, Sara's falcon came gliding in, swoop down, and collect the Star pendent in his claws. He glided to Sailor Moon and dropped the pendent in her out stretched hand. Then he flew away. Sailor Moon stared at the pendent sadly. She thought of Sara. Screamed out.
"HELP ME SARA!"
The pendent started to glow. A Silhouette of Sailor Universe appeared in front of Sailor Moon. They both looked at each other for a moment. Sailor Universe plunged into Sailor Moons body. Sailor Moon floated to the ground and looked at the Queen. With a flash of light from the Silver Crystal Sailor Moon's uniform changed. Her brooch turned into a Crescent Moon wrapped around a four - pointed Star; her tiara had a frame of a four - pointed Star with her Crescent Moon symbol in the middle of the Star on her forehead. Her boots went to her thigh and were black; she grew wings that you could see through that were kind of like a pixie's. Her staff had a frame of a four - pointed Star with a frame of a Crescent Moon around it. When the light faded Eternal Sailor Moonlight stood facing the Dark Queen. She held her staff in front of her. All the Scouts, Tuxedo Mask, and Jedite ran into the room. They all stared at Eternal Sailor Moon's new look.
"I am Eternal Sailor Moonlight. You have threatened the Peace of Earth and the Universe. You tried to kill me; my friends and you had Sailor Universe killed. That is not tolerable."
She put the top of the Staff in front of her face. She closed her eyes and her Crescent Moon symbol started to glow. The symbol went into the top of the Staff. A white energy filled in the middle of the staff. All the Scouts closed their eyes too. Their Tiara's disappeared and their Symbols appeared on their foreheads. Their Symbol's flew towards the Staff. The light turned purple, then blue, then yellow, then orange, then light green, then dark green. With a flash of light Sailor Uranus appeared. Her eyes were closed. Her symbol flew to the staff. The light turned yellow and dark blue. Then a black eight - pointed Star flew from Eternal Sailor Moonlight. When it went into the staff a Rainbow ball appeared in the middle of the Staff. It was turning in a horizontal circle. Eternal Sailor Moonlight raised the Staff high in the air. The ball flew from the top of the Staff at Queen Moleen. 5 inches before it would have hit her it broke into long bands of colors. The bands encircled the Queen and when they all hit her she screamed out in pain. She fought by sending wave after wave of dark energy at the bands, but to no avail. A huge explosion of color erupted and the Queen was gone. The Scout's Symbols appeared and returned to their limp body. They opened their eyes and sat up exhausted. The walls started to collapse so all the Scouts, Tuxedo Mask, and Jedite fled to the surface with Eternal Sailor Moonlight in Tuxedo Mask's arms. They all watched as Beryl's Old Kingdom was destroyed forever. Everybody was sitting on the ground trying to recover from what happened. Eternal Sailor Moonlight was being held by Tuxedo Mask.
"I love you." He whispered into her ear.
But she lay there not moving.
"Don't leave me Serena. I need you."
A light went across Eternal Sailor Moonlight's body. Sailor Universe's silhouette appeared before her Princess's body. Eternal Sailor Moonlight's uniform vanished. She was now just Eternal Sailor Moon.
"Can you save her Sara?" asked now-Prince Edymion.
Sailor Universe looked at Edymion.
"Yes, I can."
She closed her eyes and the pendent still on Eternal Sailor Moons chest glowed. When the light ceased Sailor Moon's eyes opened. She blinked once then focused her eyes on Sailor Universe.
"Are you alright Princess?"
"Yes."
"Then My mission is complete."
"You can't leave." She struggled to get to her feet. Edymion tried to keep her down, but she got to her feet while use him for support. "I order you to stay!" she cried. "You can't leave! I forbid it!"
"Dear Princess, You know I can't obey that order. Do you remember that story I told you?"
Eternal Sailor Moon nodded her head.
"That girl was me. It was my fault you died. Now you will be safe forever."
Sailor Universe started to fade. Eternal Sailor Moon ran towards here.
"I forgive you for you mistake! But, I need you! I want all my friends with me!"
"I'm sorry Princess." Were her last words before she disappeared.
Eternal Sailor Moon fell to here knees and cried. Edymoin ran to her side and she cried into his shoulder. He picked her up and they transported home.
