It was a glorious morning. The Sun rose up in a sea of light bathing the Earth. The heads of 9 Sailor Scouts walking towards a hotel could be seen. When they reached the door to the Hotel room of their savior they grew nervous. They didn't know what to expect.
She could feel the Princesses getting closer to her. She could also feel their tension. She looked into the mind of the Moon Princess. All she saw was courage. The Moon Princess was not afraid. Then a knock on the door came. She slowly crept to the door.
"Hi Sailor Moon." She whispered.
"Hello Sailor Universe." She said in a serious tone. "I believe we need to talk."
"That would be a good idea."
She opened the door wider and let the others in.
"There's Sailor Mars, Mercury, Venus, and Jupiter. Oh, and there is Uranus, Neptune, Saturn, and Pluto!"
All nine girls squished into the small Hotel room.
"This is Jay." She pointed towards the Blond haired man lying on the bed. He waved while blushing a bit. "He is a friend if mine from a long time ago."
"Hi." Sailor Moon stepped forward and shook his out stretched hand.
All the Sailor Scouts except Sailor Universe tensed up.
"Sailor Universe. I suggest that we take this meeting to Sara's mansion. It is a little cramped in here and people could hear what we are saying."
"I agree Sailor Moon."
"Wait. Let me see how your friend is doing."
Sailor Mercury pulled her computer out of her subspace pocket and was about to scan him when two Sailor Scouts jumped in front of him and yelled:
"NO!"
Everybody looked at Sailor Universe and Pluto.
"He is fine."
"But."
"Sailor Mercury, don't."
Sailor Mercury could hear the warning in her voice. She put her computer away and stood quietly. The others turned to leave Sailor Universe snuck a nod of thanks to Sailor Mercury. Universe and Pluto helped Jay to his feet and they walked out of there.
"Sailor Moon."
"Yes Sailor Universe?"
"Could you call Tuxedo Mask and tell him to pick us up. And tell him to bring a van."
"Come on Serenity be strong. Call him. He still loves you." Thought Sailor Universe.
Sailor Moon looked down sadly she then looked at Sailor Mars and mumbled "Sailor Mars will you do it?"
Sailor Mars walked up to Sailor Moon and put her hand on her shoulder.
"Yes."
Sailor Universe's hope that the Moon Princess and Earth Prince would forgive each other was lost. All the girls and Jay waited until Tuxedo Mask drove up in a van. They pilled in and drove to Sara's house. Sailor Moon didn't look at Tuxedo Mask the whole way to Sara's. Sailor Universe saw him look at her through the mirror. Sailor Universe saw the flash of pain in his eyes. They finally got to Sara's house and put Jay on the couch in the Study. Sailor Jupiter and Sailor Saturn went into the kitchen and made something to drink and eat. All the while Tuxedo Mask worked up the courage to talk to Sailor Moon. He whispered into her ear.
"Serena, I need to speak to you."
"No. I do not want to talk to you."
"Please Serena. I.."
"NO!"
All the Scouts looked at Sailor Moon wondering why she yelled no. Sailor Uranus went up to Tuxedo Mask.
"Leave her alone! She doesn't want to speak to you!"
"This has nothing to do with you Uranus."
"This has everything to do with me. She is my Princess and I will protect her from ALL harm. Mental or physical."
Tuxedo Mask got angry. Sailor Universe got in the middle of them.
"I'VE HAD ENOUGH! This foolishness has gone on long enough! So some of you have made a mistake! Every one makes mistakes! I do not want to hear another argument!"
"Maybe I should leave."
Tuxedo Mask walked out of the front door.
"Good riddance." Said Sailor Uranus.
Sailor Universe turned to Sailor Uranus and decked her in the face. Sailor Uranus fell to the floor in shock.
"Do not under any circumstances talk to your future King that way."
Sailor Universe ran out after Tuxedo Mask. She left behind 8 shocked faces.
"I can't believe I did that to her. I've hurt her so much. I don't think she will forgive me this time."
Tuxedo Mask cleared another rooftop and stopped at a warehouse facing the water. He was sitting there and he felt gloved hands go around him. At first he thought it was Serena then he noticed the different designs on the gloves. He looked up and saw Sailor Universe.
"Oh it's you."
"You sound disappointed."
"I didn't mean.."
"It's Ok. You were expecting Sailor Moon."
She sat down next to him and Tuxedo Mask looked at her.
"How did you know?"
"You may not know much about me Darien, but I'm not stupid. I can tell what you are thinking by the look on your face."
He looked at her.
"Why did you walk out?"
"I wasn't exactly welcome."
"Well, it is my house and I say you are welcome."
He looked at her and let out this sorrowful laugh.
"She still loves you, you know. I can feel it."
"I've hurt her bad." He got up and walked to the edge. "Maybe I am a traitor like Sailor Uranus said."
"NO! You made a mistake. Everyone makes mistakes. Sailor Uranus said those things because she's scared."
Tuxedo Mask looked at her with sceptically.
"She is scared because she let herself believe what you were saying was true. She is also ashamed because she thinks she let down her Princess. But tell me this. What attracts you to Serena?"
He stood there deep in thought. Then spoke from his heart. The whole time he felt that he was talking to a friend he's known all his life.
"I love her courage. She is so strong and so powerful."
"That is so wonderful. But don't you think you should tell her all that?"
He looked at her. She got up and walked by his side.
"I have watched your love bloom from anger to passion. I've never seen two people so right for each other."
She gave him a hug and walked towards the next roof.
"Stay here. Serena will come to you."
She jumped to the next roof and repeated the process until she was out of sight.
She sat in the room. Tears streaming down her cheek. The scene replying in her mind. A knock came at the door. Then Sailor Mercury entered.
"Serena? I've come to ask you, you to please except my sincere apologies. I shouldn't have said those things. I don't know what came over me. It's just, what they were saying sounded so right at the time. Then when it was all over with I realized our mistake. You were our friend and we owe everything to you and we were so worried about you and that you maybe somewhere hurt instead of fighting with us where you could be protected made us angry. We couldn't realize you could handle yourself and that maybe you wanted to be alone away from us. Or that you were tired of being a Sailor Scout that you didn't want to fight any longer."
Serena looked at the blue haired girl. She was crying. Serena moved from her spot and walked over to her friend. She lifted up her chin and wiped away her tears.
"I would never want to leave you guys."
Sailor Mercury smiled at her friend and hugged her.
"Thank you. My friend."
Sailor Mercury left the room and Sailor Moon returned to her crying position. She was interrupted yet again by a knock. This time it was Sailor Universe.
"Hi. Princess."
"Hi." She said gloomily.
"Why won't you talk to him?"
"Why are you taking his side!"
"I'm not taking anyone's side! I just don't under stand why you won't talk to him?!"
"He hurt me bad that's why."
"Well, if you talk about it he will tell you why he did it. Maybe he has a good reason."
"A good reason for ripping my heart out of my chest?"
"No, a good reason for loving you. Tonight he said things about you he never told anyone before. Let him explain and you will see what he really meant by those words."
Sailor Moon looked at Sailor Universe.
"But first there is a friend of yours who is very sad." Sailor Universe said while walking to the door and opening it. "I think she is waiting for her Princess to come to her."
Sailor Moon looked at Sailor Universe with a knowing look. She then walked out of the room and towards Sailor Venus. Sailor Universe sat down and sighed. She was very happy everyone made peace. She was deep in thought when this pain hit her. She grabbed her head and a vision came to her. It was of the Sailor Scouts being captured and only four escaping, Sailor Moon, Jay, Sailor Universe, and Sailor Uranus. She also saw that Sailor Uranus gets her new attack. She dashed out of the room only to find Jay lying on the couch asleep. She woke him up.
"Jay. Jay!"
He woke up and looked at her.
"Where are the Sailor Scouts?"
"They went with Sailor Moon the find Tuxedo Mask. Why?"
"They are in great danger."
"What?"
"I must go after them."
"I'll go with you."
He struggled to get up.
"No. You are still too weak to fight."
He got on his feet.
"No! I am perfectly fine. We will go."
She looked at him and they ran out of the house.
"I left him at the docks. They should be there."
They ran as fast as they could until they finally reached the battle. Crystal was fighting the Scouts and Sailor Moon was holding an injured Tuxedo Mask and they quickly joined the battle. Crystal sent out this huge energy bast right at the Sailor Scouts. Sailor Uranus pushed Sailor Moon out of way as Jay and Sailor Universe put a shield around them. When the blast was done only four were left standing on the roof. They rest of they scouts were gone. Jay and Sailor Universe let down the shield. Sailor Moon looked at the spot where her friends and love once stood. Crystal appeared behind her and grabbed her by the throat, but before she could do anything Sailor Uranus let her furry out on her.
"Uranus Frantic Wind…
Golden Light appeared around her feet. It swirled around her body until none of her body could be seen. Then her hands appeared out of the part of the Hurricane of Golden Light that was facing Crystal. Her hands went to the side of the Hurricane and her voice could be heard.
Disperse!"
The Hurricane of Golden Light flew at Crystal. She put up a force field, but Sailor Moon hit her in the gut. The force field broke and Sailor Moon scrambled out of the ways as Crystal was hit by the large blast. Unfortunately Crystal was not dead. She weakly built up her energy for the last blast. She asked the Queen for a burst of energy. The Queen gave it to her. She released it right at Sailor Moon. Everybody at once ran towards Sailor Moon. She closed her eyes. But instead of the blast hitting her it hit a small force field that had appeared around her. Sailor Moon was hurled back. She lay unconscious. Everybody ran to her side.
"Is she, is she..?" cried Sailor Uranus while trying to fight back the tears.
"No she is still alive." Replied a relieved Jay.
Sailor Universe carefully picked up Sailor Moon and started to walk away from the others. She then stopped, turned around and said.
"Well, are you guys coming or what?"
Jay and Sailor Uranus looked at each other and followed Sailor Universe to Sara's house.
