Thank-you to all people who have written to me, I feel a whole lot better about this story now and hopefully I’ll be able to finish it soon * sweatdrop* I hope so. Sorry it took so long to get this out. *g * server writers block. I’m sorry! But, anyway here’s part 6, I hope you like it and it lives up to the rest of the stories standard.

Suddenly a wave of remembrance swept over the six people that sat at the temple.
"Venus Power!!"

"I'll kill you Beryl!! I swear I will!"
"Serena! You Moon brain, save your strength! Defeat Beryl for us, for the universe, for love, for me, for us, your friends and Senshi!"
"Ray!!!! No, don't leave me! please! Lita! Amy! Mina! Nooooooooooooo!"
"Beryl!!! Come out and face me! I will kill you, on behalf of the Moon, for love and for my Endymion! and For my friends..my best friends, my only friends! my protectors, and companions!"
I glanced around me. My best friend Ray had just asked us about Mars Fireball Charge, and we stared at her dumbfounded. I told the relative strangers what I knew, all about Amy and what I knew she was. After Amy left, the girl Mina followed then I to hightailed it out of Ray’s shrine, me, Lita Kino running for the second time in my life and this time not even from a person, from the inevitable.
I ran from Ray and those girls and Darien thinking of when we had met. And how one simple meeting had changed my life and my destiny. Causing event to happen and trip a line of events, the domino effect you could call it. Leading me away from the path of a normal girl, leading me nowhere until now.
I had just moved to Juuban, and already I could tell on one in my school Crossroads liked me. They had heard rumors about how I was always fighting and about why I had moved here. I looked around the classroom and took note of a couple of the kids, one girl Serena, kinda struck me as odd, but as usual I dismissed it, she was the typical blonde, bubbly and oblivious short of attention. She was speaking to a girl that looked kind of like her except her hair was lighter and her eyes darker. Rolling my eyes I thought to my self, Great Air heads ‘R’ Us!, I dismissed them from my mind totally not even wanting to be bothered by them. Another girl, who was back into the corner, seem to be analyzing something. She was dressed like the rest of us, but seemed different. Maybe it was the hair, it was the same shade as her eyes. Not a penetrating blue but a serene blue that made me think of calm waters. Shaking my head I cleared away my foolish thoughts and tried to focus my thoughts on the teacher and what she was trying to teach the class. Slowly the time crept by and after what seemed like forever it was finally time for lunch. Walking towards the edge of the schoolyard, I sat down under a tree and pulled out my lunch. As I unpacked I noticed how everyone seemed to have their own groups and there was no room for a new girl. I had been sitting there staring into space when I heard these voices whispering on the other side of the tree about me.
“Did you see the new girl?”
“Yeah, how is anyone ever so tall?”
“I don’t know she seems like a freak though.”
“I know.”
“Did you hear she got kicked out of her last school for fighting?”
“Really?”
“What a loser!”
“I know, fighting really?”
I stood up quickly and moved around the tree to see who was speaking about me in such gruesome details when they didn’t even know me. I swallowed back the tears I knew where shining in my eyes as I blinked trying to clear my vision. Finally I saw four or five girls gathered in a semi-circle eating, exchanging food, and gossiping, a typical lunch for them it seemed. I still don’t know if it was my expression or that fact that they felt kinda guilty that they realized I was girl they had just so rudely slandered. One by one their eye’s met mine and then shied away guiltily my burning with loathsomeness as I stared hard at their guilty faces. Suddenly I felt something in me crash and for the first time in my life I ran from something that I wanted to fight but could not and I knew it. With my hands covering my eyes, I admitted defeat and felt my heart wrench, at the knowledge. I ran off the school premises and keep running, no knowing where I was going but, knowing I had to get there. I stopped for a second and felt my heart pounding, my legs screaming, my mind spinning and knew I was needed right down the road. My body pulled me towards some bushes where I crouched down and waited wondering why I had to be here. I blinked my eyes, trying to clear them of the dirt and grit they had collected from my lovely run, when I though I felt strong presence. I glanced round and saw no one so I settled down on my knees, trying to slow down my labored breathing and calm my pounding blood. As I shook my head I heard a voice call out roughly, “ Hey you!”
I looked up and only saw a girl about my age walking quickly away from these four guys. I glanced to the girl again, and my mind screamed at what it felt, she felt so familiar, like I knew her, and we were friends. Suddenly I knew that there going to be trouble, when the four guys surrounded the girl and started bothering her and trying to take her purse. My body took over then, my breathing slowed to normal, my hands clenched and I moved closer shielding myself with a tree.
“Come on sweet heart, surely you can spare some change?”
“What a doll, who need her money?”
“Come on baby, just one little kiss?”
“Me first you idiot! I’m always fi…”
His statement was cut short as I jumped from behind the tree. My fist went flying into the closest thing I could hit, his stomach, and the guy went down like a sack of potatoes. I put myself between the girl and the other three guys, my body going into autopilot as my mind told me to do this and that. I swung again, hitting something hard and another one went down out cold. Once again I was into autopilot as I moved aside from an attack I knew was coming and grabbed his arm flipping him over causing him to crash into the other boy both of them going down, moaning. I glanced around at the four boys lying on the ground and then at my hands realizing what I had just done. I turned around to make sure the girl was OK and instead of running she had backed into the tree I had jumped out from he hand presses to her mouth her eyes screaming fear. I moved both hands out to show her I wasn’t going to hurt her when she suddenly laughed and hugged me. When I backed away she flashed a bright smile to me before extending her hand and saying, “ Hi! I’m Ray Hino! That was amazing! I’ve never seen anything like that, you’re not even breathing hard, I mean wow. What are you a Black belt?”
I sat there and watched this girl * “Ray Hino” my mind said plainly * who had been scared to death a minute ago and then the next minute talking up a storm and congratulating me on what I did. I looked at her once more, my eyes wide my mouth agape before I started shaking, trying not to laugh. That was until I watched her face, as she went on talk not even noticing me, and that’s what did it. I fell down howling with laughter, tears pouring from my eyes, and already my stomach cramping from the long run, the fight, and now my laughter but I couldn’t stop. I laughed till I couldn’t laugh anymore and when I finally got myself under control I looked up to see Ray’s face as bewildered as before and I lost it again, though this time her laughter joined mine. After finally getting control of my laughter I grabbed her hand helped her stand up. Smiling I wiped my eyes and then my face trying no to laugh again. Finally I turned towards Ray and offered my hand smiling.
“Hi, I’m Lita Kino” I grinned sheepishly, “ sorry about earlier, though if you could have seen your face. It was classic.”
Ray grinned and said, “ That’s ok, I meant it thought when I said what you did was awesome. I’ve never seen anything like it! Do you study the Arts?”
I grinned ruefully, “ Nah, pure talent.”
Ray looked at me and than shook her head in disbelief, “ That’s hard to believe Lita, You looked like a black belt against those guys.”
I shrugged once again smiling to Ray. “So where were you off to before you were interrupted?” My eyes cut to the four guys lying on the ground still.
“ I was headed to the Mall? Care to join me?”
As I nodded and smiled to Ray I knew then that our friendship as true as anything. We were meant to be friends and fate had kicked in and brought (at least) together to brave the rest of this wild ride together.
I ran down the street, not looking, not caring, following my feet once again because they seem to know exactly where they wanted to go. When I looked up I stood in front of a gazebo covered in pink roses and white pansies. I plopped down on the bench and stared down at my hands, so lost in thought I didn’t even notice when the arm had gone around me. When I came to Ken was there, cradling my head on his shoulder, his arms around me offering me comfort and love. I looked up my eyes meeting his and if I wasn’t confused before, I was now, for in that brief moment of eye contact I knew I loved Ken, but I didn’t know how to tell him. My mind had shut down complete after the shock that Ray and others had bestowed upon us and I was speechless. Not knowing what to say I tried to speak but no words came out, only a small gasp as I looked in Ken’s eyes and saw a devotion so strong, I started crying. I leaned into him and wrapped my arms around him and cried on his shoulder, I had never felt this way, for Ken was my best friend, next to Ray of course, and I knew I loved him, and not on a friendship level. When my tears had passed I looked up once again meeting Ken’s eyes and this time instead of saying nothing, my hand rose slowly brushing his cheek. My eyes speaking volumes to his, my mouth curving slowly into a smile and his wearing the one I loved so much.
“Oh, Ken” I finally breathed, my eyes locking with his.
“Lita, Lita, Lita, how long I’ve waited to tell you” Ken said as his fingers brushed my hair back.
“Why didn’t you say something?” I asked, my eyes searching his.
“I-I-I-I I didn’t think you cared this way.” stammered Ken a blush staining his cheeks making his look so handsome I had to gasped. My hand came up to stroke his cheek. I grinned then and leaned towards him both my hands coming up to rest on both his cheek before I whispered softly and gazed into his eyes, “ You silly man, that’s all I’ve wanted.”
“Oh, Lita.” Ken said as he pulled me close, his face buried in my hair, his arms holding me so tight. I sighed and relaxed at peace for the first time today, my arms wound around his waist, my face buried in his neck. As I relaxed I felt Ken stroking my back and my hair, his fingers soothing me and yet caressing me with such possessiveness it made my insides melt. I sighed and held him closer revealing in the fact that I loved Ken, my best friend, my “Rainy Day Man” and everything I could ever want. As I felt him release me I rose up and looked at him this time, with new eyes, and saw how handsome he was and had always been and I felt my heart melt and my soul leap. My face flushed and my hands gripped his shirt tightly, my nerves fried and I started trembling from the love I saw in his eyes and what I felt. Slowly as if in a dream, Ken gathered me and pulled me close, his eyes meeting mine and smoldering slightly until I felt like a puddle of mush.
His hand came up and stroked my cheek, and slipped to the nape of my neck and his other to my waist. Pulling me closer till we were nose to nose, his warm breath tickling my lips, and intoxicating my senses. I slipped my arms around his neck my fingers curling through his hair, our bodies were in overdrive from the closeness of each other, we didn’t know what to do but we both knew we didn’t want it to stop. Slowly my eyes closed as I felt him move closer, his lips were barely touching mine but already I had no feeling there. As our lips finally touched I felt electricity run through me, jolting me awake, my nerves were screaming where our bodies were touching. The feel of his lips on mine was like nothing I had ever felt. It was heaven and hell, heat and passion yet nothing but a gentle caress. As I leaned closer to Ken, I felt his hands move up and felt him pulling my hair down his fingers running through it and over it. Until then I had just held him close now I pulled him closer still, until our chests were touching so I could make sure this was real, not a dream I was having because of my run. When I felt his lips caressing mine and coaxing them open I complied with no thought, for it was then I realized this was my soul mate, I had finally found him. As my lips opened I felt his tongue gently run over my open lips and along my gum. When my tongue tentatively touched his I felt that electricity again and I felt a heat unfurl in my stomach and everywhere our bodies were touching. Slowly my hand descended to his back and I felt Ken groan and pulled me even closer his hands smoothing my shirt and along my back, but when I felt his fingers caressing my breast I gasp and moved back suddenly. My eyes wide with astonishment at what had just happen. Poor Ken was all red and was running his hands through his hair and when he looked at me he was almost ready to cry.
“ Oh, Lita I’m sorry, I don’t know what came over me, I’m so sorry, it won’t happen again I swear, I just had to kiss you! Oh Lita please forgive me, please.”
I smiled and placed my finger across his lips shushing him quickly, and smiled at him before I stood up and pulled him up with me. When we were standing I wrapped my arms around his waist and hung on like my life depended on it. And When Ken realized it was OK he hugged me back just as hard. I looked up to make sure this was real and when Ours eyes met I knew it was. Slowly I raised one hand to Ken’s cheek and pulled his head towards me and captured his lips with mine and then released him. I touched hip cheek once more, sorrow creeping into my eyes and my movements because I remembered what might me to come, the flash back were just the beginning. Though now I had, my knight and my soul mate, Ken and I would not lose him no matter what. When he went to talk again I shook my head and leaned up to kiss him once more and whispered quietly in his ear, “ My, love I need you. Before me comes the most difficult challenge I’ve ever faced to date. I will be strong but, I need your love and right now, I need privacy, but fear not. I will see you tomorrow. I love you.”
When I finished I looked him in the eyes and let him see the truth in my eyes and he excepted it wordlessly even though he had to fight the urge so not to help me. Wordlessly he bent and kisses me once love and gentleness singing through the gesture and whispered only four words. “ I love you Lita.” And with those words, he was gone.
I turned from him and stared towards the path that led towards my house but I couldn’t stop myself and ran towards Ken, throwing myself into his arms. I needed his protection and love, needed it more than ever if I was to survive what I knew would probably change my entire life. After a good five minutes I moved from Ken, linger over one last sweet kiss before forcing myself to move towards my apartment, and towards my destiny.
As I entered the apartment my mind went back to what I had been thinking about before. Those girls and what they had said, made my mind reel, how could they know me? I clicked on the Radio and began to cook my dinner.
As soon as the soon ended I slipped down, my back against the counter as tears streamed down my face. The song so simple yet so real to me after what had happened today with the girls I had met. As I reached up to click off the radio my mind started to grow distance, it was happening now, the thing I felt I might regret but was now about to find out.
As the Arctic wind whipped through our suits we waited for Serena’s decision. Amy started by saying, "Serena! We must defeat Beryl, I suggest now we change and let's find out where she is and get Darien out of her grasp."
Serena looked to Amy then us, and I noticed she wasn’t Serena she was Serenity, our Princess more than she had ever been before. As our eyes met we came to and understanding ands we knew what had to do. Ray, Mina, Serena, Amy, and I stood proudly with our hands raised and screamed the words I knew so well.
"Moon Prism..."
"Mars.”
"Jupiter.."
"Venus.."
"Mercury.."
"POWER!!!!!!!!!!" we yelled together.
Like an old friend the lightening greeted me. Electricity surged through my body as Jupiter greeted her Princess and Senshi, my body powering up with the strength of both love and battle. We turn the way Amy points to us and begin to walk towards what I know will be the end. I glance over seeing Ray move closer to Serena and touch her shoulder, their eyes met showing how Ray understands what is to happen forging a truce with her Princess. Suddenly our way was blocked with four people.
"Negadweebs." I retort as I charge up with electricity.
"Jupiter Thunder Crash!" I yell sending out a blast towards them, but as nothing happens I stand there dumbfounded. Ray steps up next and say her line, "I call upon the power of Mars..Fireball Charge!" Fire rages from her hands but, it's the same thing, nothing. Mina tries next, "Venus Love chain Encircle!" as before, nada. Amy is next a look of uncertainty on her face and yells, "Mercury Ice Storm..Splash!" but still nothing. She motions for us to come closer, bring everyone in and says, “We can't destroy them with out powers...they're too strong, the only way to defeat them is one on one and to use...." She pauses and looks down her eye slightly wavering very un-Amy like.
"Amy what?" Serena demands gulping inwardly.
"W-w-w-we have to use our life force itself, in the name of our planets. Or we can use the Crystal." She says quietly wincing. We look to each other amazed at what she had said and to each other wondering what to do. The Doom and Gloom girls (as they call themselves) laugh and call us pitiful. Serena looks at us and says, "I'll defeat them, I'll use the Crystal on them."
"NOOOOOO!!!!!" we all shout, a look of horror crossing our faces.
"Serena, save your strength, you have to defeat Beryl." Ray says more calmly. Suddenly one of the girls went towards Serena lighting surrounding her, bound to hurt our leader, knowing she couldn't use the Crystal she stood her ground trying to be brave.
I saw this and knew what I had to do, this girl was one of the stronger ones and I had to defeat only me because, as it moved forwards, lightening danced across her arms and body. I jumped forward shoving Serena to the ground and give her smile. As I move forward I hear "No! Lita!!!!" knowing my friends are shouting it, but I stood my ground and yelled back to my best friends, “ Defeat the Queen! Only you can do it!"
I feel the tentacles reach towards me as I she laughter in the girls eyes. Rage storms through me, and I grin viciously at the girl, meeting her eyes defiantly. She falters for a second and I scream, " In the name of Jupiter. and in the name of love and friendship, Give me the strength....JUPITER THUNDER CRAAAAAAAAAAASH!!!"
Suddenly I felt and unearthly power rip through my body and then a coolness as I felt Jupiter smile on me touching my head and whispering her wordless praise. I drift for a second before I see my friends their faces in utter fear as they see me leave. I flash before of them ..a cake in my hands and a smile on my face saying, "I'm here always, I believe in you!"
I drift behind them my power floating in the clouds watching as my friends face of the girls one by one joining me one by one. Their spirits floating along with me, Raye the ground and still fiery in death, Amy the snow, her love radiating from out of her, and Mina the wind laughter bubbling from her even now.
As Serena was suddenly enveloped into a bubble and transported to Beryl’s lair we followed swiftly behind her. As Serena transformed into Serenity Her strength was dwindling and we knew it. Her last little bit of strength slipping as the Crystal began working. Amy went first help our princess, and Raye, Mina and I followed our powers joining her. As our combined forces slammed into Beryl who added more power. Serena than added her love to the beam the Crystal was emitting. I could feel the love for everything and everybody she loved going into the crystal. Slowly we were winning, My friends and I felt what our Princess was doing and we followed surely and without hesitation. As we threw everything we had at her Beryl cracked and lost, but so did we, gone forever from each other and the world, as we knew it. My body felt the strength of the earth and the storms. The peace of rains and lightening screaming for my soul but I stubbornly refused knowing I might me needed again by my princess. My heart cried out then wanting life and as if by some miracle, Serena said, " Mother! If you are listening please grant me this one wish! Please let Darien, and my friends return as if nothing ever happened. Please let me be a normal girl!"
“Serena!!!!!!!!!!” I cried out, knowing what she was asking “I..” but then a white light enveloped u and with a flash of bright light filled with love and Serena’s laughter, I was gone.
“Serena!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” I jumped up my body teeming with energy as my hand thrust to the air. “Jupiter Power!!!!!!!!!” Lightening and the feeling of thunder wrapped around my body as my mind felt the presence of Raye, Mina, Amy, Serena, and even Darien. My heart seeing Ken. And I smiled knowing I will never regret what I now know.
