“So how long have you and Raye been going out? Two days, Three days?” Darien smirked, questioning Jed.

“Two weeks Darien.” said Jed sighing afterwards ‘Two weeks’

“Which means…”

“Which means that I should break up with her or at least should’ve done so six days ago.” Jed said sarcastically

“So you going to” Darien said simply

“No!” Jed exclaimed quickly

“But dude you need to. The ladies are going to start to think that you are in a serious relationship.”

“Isn’t that a good thing?”

“No! At least, not for us guys.”

“What do you mean by –not for us guys-?”

“_Well_...us guys.” Jed gave Darien a confused look. “Guys like us don’t really get into any serious relationship with the ladies until college. We are just those kind of guys.” Darien finished giving _himself_ a confused look.

“Darien, you’re starting to sound a _whole_ like Ned.”

“You know maybe I am. But you’re more like Zack now, being sensitive and crap.” said Darien

“And crap?” questioned Jed

“Yeah! You know he is still after that smart girl Amy. He’s trying to pull up his grades and everything to get in the same grade with her since she got promoted and all. And yet other girls want to be with him, but he still regrets.” Darien said making it seem like Zack committed a crime.

“Darien, that isn’t crap. Its feelings. Which is something I grow into when I’m around Raye.”

“So, what’s the big deal about Raye anyways?” questioned Darien. Once Darien saw the sparks in Jed’s eyes and how he was about to speak Darien quickly spoke up. “Never mind! I don’t want you to give me a one hour lecture on how she walks, talks, moves, eats, say’s ‘Hello!’, or how her feet is.” Darien said sarcastically.

“I don’t talk about her feet.” Jed defended

“Yeah well, the way you always talk about her, something new pops up!” said Ned

“Hey Ned.” Darien and Jed said in unison

“Hey! Jed, you need to break up with Raye.” Ned said in a matter-of-fact. Jed sighed. “Don’t be like Darien and lead them girls on all the time. You gotta set things straight.”

“You seem to do more leadin’ than Darien, Ned.” said Kraig.

“Hey, I can’t help the fact that the ladies love me.” said Ned.

“Yeah well you don’t have to lead-on every girl you see.” said Darien.

“Now Darien, I didn’t say it was just Ned leading the girl’s on.” said Kraig.

“You are just jealous that I actually have a chance with a girl. You’re too serious. Lighten up a little will ya.” said Darien.

“I don’t need to lighten up! “ Kraig protested.

“Yes you do!” Darien and Ned said in unison.

“I’m not going to be here for this.” said Jed walking towards the door.

“No I don’t!” Kraig protested once again.

As Darien, Ned, and Kraig were continuing their argument, Jed was now outside Darien’s apartment, running his hand through his hair and sighing.

‘What am I going to do with those to three’ Jed thought walking through the halls, lobby and then outside the streets of Tokyo. ‘What if Darien and Ned are right? Maybe I should break up with Raye. I don’t even know if she even likes me in that way yet or at all. Girls just seem to go for me because of my looks. There’s her apartment. *sigh* I guess I’ll break up with her then.’ As Jed was right in-front of Raye’s door, he put his hand up to the door ready to knock and then paused. ‘I wonder how she’ll react? Oh well. Here it goes.’ *KNOCK! KNOCK!*

“COMING!” a voice inside of the apartment said. The door soon opened and there was Raye with her face lit up. “Jed! Come in!”

“Pronto Raye” (AN: ‘pronto’ in Italian, means hello. I just had to use that ^.^)

“How’s it going?” Raye questioned.

“Uh…ok, I guess. You?”

“Fine…fine. Jed, what’s wrong?” Raye questioned curiously. Jed then grabbed both of Raye’s hands into his.

‘Why am I hesitating to break-up with her? I never had trouble doing this! I guess it’s been a while. Darien and Ned were right. I need to set things straight. Ok here it goes.”

So Jed told Raye that things weren’t working between them and Raye agreed. But whoever said that when you agree to something you don’t really mean it? Raye took it pretty well on top of it all. She was heartbroken though. She thought the relationship was going quite well! But she guessed that she was wrong and that this was Jed she was talking about! Jed was always a born heartbreaker for all females! Still, she felt that her relationship with Jed was much different than the other girls. She felt that there was something more to it. She did go out with Jed for two weeks.

As the next few days passed, Raye felt numb. She felt no emotion what-so-ever in her body. She only cried once, which was the night Jed dismissed their relationship to go any further. That was it. It was over.

It was another simple yet boring day at Juuban High. Everyone doing their own thing, Cheerleaders practicing cheers, Jocks being jocks, students finishing last nights homework, others gossiping, flirting, others making out with their boyfriends or girlfriends. Buses were still unloading the students of Juuban High. Raye Hino was just walking out of her bus doors.

Raye Hino was just another senior in Juuban High. She is 17 years old and hangs out with her 4 best friends known as Serena, Mina, Lita and Ami. Raye was always an attractive female. She had waist length raven hair with beautiful violet eyes. Her height was about 5’7’’. Today Raye was wearing a red- tank-top with a black short skirt, wearing black sandals. Guys stare at her and dreamed to be with her. Many males would hit on her and yet many would succeed. Raye never found any interest in any of them though but maybe a few.

Although Raye went with many guys, the relationship never lasted that long. Raye had broken up with many of them which were ones that annoyed her or didn’t deserve the attitude that she had given them. The others that had broken up with her were the ones that might have meant something to her but it turns out that they just lead her on. It didn’t bother her that much. She new that no one could ever understand her and the way she was except maybe one man. She never really believed in this ‘love’.

Maybe the reason that she was asked out so many times was because men was interested into getting to what was behind the beauty or maybe they just wanted to see what was behind the clothes.

Some girls were jealous of Raye and most were ideal’s. The most jealous of all though was Jenny June. Jenny June was now Jed Gadzia’s new girlfriend. The relationship wouldn’t last long though. Jed always did a thing to where he would break-up with the girls between 4-8 days, except for one girl; he went over the limit with her, but that was maybe 3 years ago. That girl was also someone special to Jed and never new why he’d given her up. That girl was Raye. That was the main reason why Jenny didn’t like Raye too well. Jenny was always one of those girls who had to be best at everything, which she did.

Jenny has been with Jed plenty of times. Only to tell others that Jed and she were meant for each other and that popularity is all for popularity or something like that. Jed never had any feelings for Jenny and he never led her on even though Jenny was led on but only by his looks.

Jed was never a jock or anything. He had only two best friends Darien and Ned. He met Darien when he was 5 ½ years old. He had just moved from Italy to Japan, and he met Darien during and argument with 2 other girls. Jed then met Ned when he was about 9.

Everything was going pretty well at the school. No more uniforms were to be worn. The school was now a year round, which kind of sucked because the students didn’t get a full summer vacation but instead, only got 3 weeks off. As the school checked to see if all of the buses were in as did the teachers. Once the bell rang for class to start, everyone went to their homerooms for the first 20 minute check in, for school was just beginning
