*RING!!!* Bells are ringing! It’s a new day a Juuban High! Students scattered and traveled to their classes. It was ridiculous how students had to travel from one side of the school to the other. Students were tripping over others as they raced down the hallways and then of course get detention afterwards. Oh well, it was nothing new. It was the most random thing at Juuban High that happened beside other disasters in these students’ lives. Other then that, students’ were just working for their school diplomas. Today was a somewhat _good_ day though. No freshman got stuffed in the trash can, the principal wasn’t chasing after students who had spray paint in their hands and no one seemed to have their lunch money captive by another-yet. This day that started off good would definitely not stay the same.
‘EER! It’s so fucking boring here!’ Raye exclaimed in her head ‘I just wish that it wasn’t the same everyday. Couples are always making out and that is something I do not like to see and I really hate it when they do it right in-front of my locker! And what’s worse is that I have to listen to them babble ‘bout their fucked up relationship. I just wish that they could be more mature. No more grabbing my ass or trying to trip me in the hall when they think I don’t know it. If only…’
“PRINCIPAL IS COMING!!! HIDE THE DRUGS!!!” the runner informed.
Everyone scattered from making love with their couples, from fighting their fights and postponing them of course and from doing other things that may be illegal. As they were running, most of the guys thought this was a good time to grab other women bottom butt. You could here girls screaming, even Dead Feet, who is Mr. John. This too was in a way casual thing when there was a crowd such as this besides males taking hold of other males’ lower bottoms.
“Hey you hoodlums get back hear!” yelled Principal Rue. He was the most unpleasant principal around. But hey, who could blame him when he dealt with so much imbecility at his very own school. Sometimes people would feel sorry for him but sadly nobody truthfully cared. He was ruthless anyways. People called him Ruthless Rue
‘Well, everything is clearing up since Mr. Rue came along.’ Rei thought in relief grabbing her History book out of her locker. ‘If only he came sooner before one of these guys grabbed my friggin’ ass. I wonder what Mina is doing? Probably flirting up a storm with Kraig, high king of being sexy and yet shy; _very_ attractive. He never showed much affection to anyone but Mina. They deserve each other. Their affections show’s well. It’s just, so many men broke Mina’s heart and she’s just too afraid to fall in-love again. I don’t blame her at all, only a little. She always did rush into things and she’s really perky in romance and wants to fall in-love! But for some main reason, she’s not _as_ perky and Kraig is not _as_ shy when around each other.’
Raye was interrupted in her thoughts as she saw Juuban High’s most popular couple strolling down the halls, hand-in-hand. It was Jenny and Jed. They were so perfect for each other. They’ve been dating for about 3 days. Everyone was stalking every movement they made, waiting for a certain moment to come up. Jed dead-stopped in the hallway stilling having Jenny’s hand cupped in his. Every one gasped loudly. Jed rolled his eyes and as for Jenny, hers were twitching.
“Fucking tease.” Raye muttered. Surprised, Jed heard and shot a death glare towards her. Jenny also looked at Raye and tiled her chin up and standing more _lady_ like. Jed turned his attention back to Jenny, as Jenny did to Jed with a wide smile. Raye showed no feelings.
“We’re over.” Those words struck Jenny hard. To Raye’s surprise, others were laughing or yelling out ‘He/She is available!’ or ‘I win the bet! Yes! Hand over my $20! I knew it was going to be 3 days, I knew it!’, strange.
“We’re what?!” Jenny exclaimed. Jed started to walk away. “It’s because of that bitch over there isn’t it!” More of a suggestion than a question. Everyone gasped and looked at who Jenny was pointing to. Jed started to snicker and started to nod his head back and forth until he saw who Jenny was pointing towards to. Jed was in fury.
“Jenny, you know as well as I do that our screwed up relationship doesn’t have to deal with Raye.” Jed said in a low stern voice.
“Yeah whatever! It’s just because you’ve been with her longer than me and you’re afraid that you will fall in-love with me just because she forced you to love and stay with her. But Jed I can make you happy without having to pay you and I can-“ *PUNCH!*
“You need to watch who you’re talking about Jenny. It could give you a black which is something I could succeed fairly well in.” Raye was pissed and fell to the ground by just missing Jenny’s punch.
“FIGHT! FIGHT! FIGHT! FIGHT! FIGHT!” yelled the students throwing their fists in the air and making a circle around the 2 girls who were on the ground wrestling. Raye blocking every punch Jenny threw at her and then got a chance to throw one at Jenny, but it was held back by a strong grip. Then Jenny saw her chance and went to throw one until her wrist was too held back with a strong grip. Everyone started to ‘boo’ and protested that the fight should’ve continued.
“Thanks Ned.” Said Jed with a relieving smile.
“Anytime Jed.” Said Ned returning the sincere his friend showed him.
As Jed and Ned split up, Jed holding Raye and Ned holding Jenny, Jed took Raye out of the crowed. It seems that Raye was struggling out of her holder’s grip and was still throwing punches at Jed or at least was trying to.
“Would you let go of me?! Let go!” Raye yelled through her gritted teeth. Jed was tired of her struggling and threw to a locker and pinned both of her arms on either side of the lockers that he held her up to.
“Just chill and I will.” Raye did as he said knowing that she could never come out of his grasp. She figured this out when she was maybe 9yrs. old and as they got older and Jed wasn’t scrawny anymore. Raye sigh was blaring with a little growl for she does _not_ like to be defeated. “I’m so sorry about what had happened back their and I just…I…”
She stared into Jed’s eyes deeply, as for searching inside his soul noticing that nothing has changed in Jed, which wasn’t something she expected. His eyes softened. Raye stopped staring and looked over Jed’s shoulder and noticed that they were the only ones in the hall.
“Jed, I’m late for class and so are you so if you don’t mind…” Raye was almost out of Jed’s grasp but was pinned back to the lockers that she was once pinned to. Raye grew in animosity. “What’s your problem?! I’m not your friggin’ bitch that you can fuck around with! I swear Jed if you don’t let go of me this instant, I’m gonna-“ Raye was shut-out by Jed’s lip as he shoved his body against Raye’s. ‘What is he doing?!’ Raye though maniacally. ‘Shit I have boobs and you’re hurting them!’
Raye was struggling to be free of his clasp and yet she was becoming more and weaker. Something shocked through Raye’s body. It was a weird feeling that came over her. She didn’t know what but for some strange reason she fell into something like a trance. No, no. It wasn’t a trance. It was something else. She sudden fell into the kiss and it became more passionate as their tongs found each other and massaged one another. Jed let go of his grasp on Raye’s wrist and moved this hands towards her waist and then around. Raye’s hands however moved north towards his sandy blonde hair massaging his head with ‘manicured’ hands.
‘Wait what am I doing?! What was I thinking?!’ Raye became a little stiff. ‘Damn he’s a good kisser.’ Raye moaned a little and loosened up a little more. ‘Raye Hino, girl. What are you doing to yourself. Don’t let him get to you. Not again. It’s been over for years. You can’t be friends or in any kind of relationship!’
Raye groaned and broke the kiss off and escaping Jed’s not so secure grasp now. “I’m sorry but I can’t. You’re just messing with and I…I need to get to class.”
“Raye wait!” Raye turned around and faced him with swollen eyes. “I-“
“What I said was what I meant and I said it with much sincere.” ‘Why is doing this to me?’
Raye turned back around and started to walk fast until she was stopped when felt Jed tug her arm back and twisted her around to face towards him. Rei gasped and bitch-slapped him right across his face. Jed winced at the pain and cupped his left side of his face and was trying to massage his now red hand marked skin. Rei turned on her heel and instead of walking, she ran towards her classroom and never once glanced back.
“Raye Hino you’re late. Do you have a pass?”
Raye sighed heavily. “No Ms. Marrero I don’t. Please excuse my tardiness. I had to do something a little personal.”
“OK Raye. You’re excused, but you must write a note telling me was this personal thing is that you had to do. We must not have this become a habit of you.”
“Yes ma’am. Thank you so much.”
“OK class now, Franklin Delano Roo- Mr. Gadzia. Why are you late?”
“Well I uh, you see Ms. Marrero I had to-“
“Mr. Gadzia sit. I don’t want to hear it. Next time you’re late you get detention no matter what excuse you’ve made up.”
“Y-yes Ms. Marrero.” Jed searched the class for Raye who was now writing her personal reason for being late to class. Jed walked passed her and sat in the seat behind her. He peeked over her shoulder and read her note. He then went to whisper in her ear. “So you were PMS’ing. Is that why you backed out of our passionate kiss?”
Raye was steamed! How could this jerk be up in her personal business like this and why was he bringing up that _awful_ moment. “Would mind your own business and no it wasn’t the reason I backed out of our passionate ki-err-just leave me alone!” It became silent between the two. Jed slid back into his seat and sat right back up and went to whisper in Raye’s ear again.
“So what was the reason?” Raye growled and broke her pencil trying not to spas out. Jed saw this and he immediately sat back down in his seat. From what he knew about this girl is that she has always been a shrew and this was not the time to get her pissed.

“Where is she?” Raye paced in the hallways and questioned things allowed about Mina until something caught her attention.
“Oh Jenny, it will all work out for the best. Every girl knows that you two are an item. You are just separated from him at the moment.”
“For real! But… why would he call our beautiful relationship off?! We were sooo meant to be! I mean, I’m the most gorgeous babe here and he is the hottest hunkster! We are Juuban High’s hottest couple! Unless…that little Raye bitch steels him from me again.”
Raye stopped listening and turned around to see Mina wide-eyed.
“Jenny deserves to be slapped right across that fake glossy face of hers.” Mina stated
“What for the second time?” Raye questioned with a proud smile and started walking towards gym class.
“She got slapped already? By who?!”
“Well, it was more of a punch and I did it.”
“All-right Raye! So what happened afterwards?”
“We got in a fight and Jed and Ned came in and held us back.”
“Ooh a cat fight-meow!”
Yeah well then I bitch-slapped Jed afterwards.”
“Really for what?”
“He was just being an ass so I slapped him.” Raye said simply. Mina gave Raye a knowing glare that told Raye admit something more happened to that story of hers. “What? I’m serious….Come on Mina, we’re going to be late for gYM!” Raye ran into somebody and was about to fall back to the ground when the stranger took hold of her with one arm around her waist and another with his book bag.
“You ok?”
“Uh yeah thank you Kraig.” Raye straightened herself up and caught Kraig and Mina staring at each other and Mina was blushing. They were both in a ‘love’ trance. “Come on Mina we’re going to be late for gym if we don’t hurry up.”
Mina shook her head. “Right! Bye Kraig!” Mina waved bye at Kraig as just did the same. Once they were near the gym and out of Kraig’s sight, Mina sighed aloud. “Woo! Thanks Raye! I owe you one.”
“What do you mean?”
“Come on Raye. You know that I have a crush on Kraig. There is no use of hiding it from you.”
“Well Lita and Amy know of this love struck between you and Kraig."
“What about Lita? Are you talking about me behind my back? Stop being a hypocrite Raye and tell me the truth.”
“Lita, *haha* you know we would never talk about you behind your back and Raye is not a hypocrite.”
“I know! But why did I hear my name?”
“Oh Lita, I was just telling Mina how you, Amy and I know about her crush with Kraig and how obvious it is.”
Raye, Lita and Mina were all laughing once they made their entrance to the Girl’s locker room.
“Oh did Raye tell you? She got in this HUGE fight with Jenny.”
“Awww man, no. Did you see it? Give me details!”
“ACTUALLY, Mina didn’t witness the fight and I do not feel like talking about it so drop that subject and on with a new one.”
“Oh yeah! Raye bitch-slapped Jed!” exclaimed Mina.
“MINA!”
“Oops sorry.”
“What? Did Jed hurt you? What did he do to? I swear bitch-slapping that boy doesn’t do shit. Fuck I’ll walk up to his sorry popular ass and fuck it up!” Lita exclaimed clenching her fist’s as if she was ready to kick some ones ass. Mina and Raye sweat dropped.
“Uh, it’s ok Lita. Jed didn’t hurt me and he didn’t do anything else. So lay off the subject.” Raye replied quickly.
“Well then why did you slap him?” Lita questioned confusingly.
“Raye said he was being an ass.” Mina answered.
“Then he _did_ do something to you! Raye you don’t have to hide anything fro us. We are always there for y-“
“Sorry Lita but I need to do my warm-ups gotta go bye!” Raye said rushing out the door.
“She’s hiding something.” Mina stated.
“And we need to find out why.” Lita too stated.
Both of them glared at the door Raye ran out of and both sighed.
Raye looked back at the girls to see if Mina and Lita came out yet. She wasn’t going to reveal what had happened during the beginning of first period between Jed and her. Right when Raye turned back to watch where she was going, it was too late and she ran into-him.
“Why don’t you watch where you are going Jed!”
“Like you shouldn’t. Haha, _you_ were the one who ran into me.” Raye blushed. He was right. She did run into him and she wasn’t watching where she was going. “I think I deserve an apology.” Raye again was steamed and picked up a Volley ball and threw it at Jed with all her might but Jed just moved out of the way. He was expecting this to happen.
“Go to hell Zilla!”
“Zilla?! What kind of name is that?! Never mind. Raye, why can’t you admit that when I kissed you, it was good?” Raye blushed brick red. Fuck ya he was a good kisser but still. Right when she was about to open her mouth Jed interrupted her. “And don’t say that it wasn’t good because you _did_ kiss me back.”
‘And I liked it too.’ Raye thought. Then she shook her head. “Argh! Jed you are the most annoying, insufferable, irritating, malicious, parsimonious, jerk I’ve ever met!” Raye turned on her heel and stormed off.
“What about that kiss?” Raye paused.
“It meant nothing. Plain and simple.” Raye simply said. ‘OK Lita, you can come and kick his ass.’
“Come on Raye. You’ve changed. You would have gone to any guy you could lay your hands on. We can date again. I’m single. You’re single. I’ve been single for maybe the last periods and you’ve been single for the past year. I hope you haven’t lost your touch. I could give you a few pointers of what men like.”
“What? Wait, let me guess. Guys want to annoy the hell out of their girlfriends and other single women. Or do they want us women to get drunk and have sex with them?” Jed shrugged. “Come on Jed. _You’ve_ changed. And you could have any girl that you could see. You would definitely win Prom King this year and dating someone you’ve already dated would not help. This is my advice for your. Try finding someone you could settle down with. And _don’t_ _ever_ talk to me, touch me, look at me or I will have Lita on your ass and I will be right by hear side helping her!”
“So, what exactly will you two lovely ladies be doing to my ass.”
“Jerk.” Raye glared madly at Jed.
“Yo Raye. Wanna play some Volley-ball?” Mina questioned across the gym room. “Mrs. Jerkin’s said today is free play!”
“Sure. Be there in a sec.” Raye was still giving Jed the death glare as she walked across the gym to meet with her friends and play some Volley Ball leaving Jed to think to his-self.
‘What was that all about? Raye is such a shrew I can’t believe she –‘
“JED WATCH OUT!” Jed was not interrupted in his thoughts by just Mina but also a Volley ball and was hit in the head by it. He wouldn’t of fell unconscious if he hadn’t lost his balance and fell back and having his head hit the corner of the bleachers.
“Nice serve Raye.” That was all Mina could say.
‘What’s going on?’ Jed thought. ‘Fuck, my head is killing me! Who’s holding my hand? Where am I?’ Jed groaned in pain and tried to sit up when suddenly someone shushed him and told him to lay back down. It was a female’s voice that anyone could recognize. He tried to open his eyes to the bright light above him but it was just too bright. So he squinted his eyes and lifted his head up an inch or two, trying to get a better look at the female in front of him who was holding his hand and he did. “Raye?”
“Shhh.” Raye put up her right index finger up to her lips. “You should rest.”
”I thought I was.”
“Well, it been about 2hrs.”
“Alright, I missed 2nd and 3rd period!”
“Well have of 3rd. Look, I’m sorry about what happened earlier.”
Jed laid his head back down and fully closed his eyes and was relaxing. He then had a smile crept up his lips. “You mean you wanna date me now?” Jed asked innocently.
“No! About the volley ball hitting you in that thick head of yours. And I’m sorry about doing it on purpose. I didn’t think that I was going to knock you out like that.”
“Wait! You did that on purpose?!”
“Well you were staring at me! I told you not to look at me touch me or talk to me!”
“Oh. Well, why are you holding my hand then?”
“The nurse thought it would help you. I don’t know why but I just listened to her and did as she said. Not that I wanted to I just felt sorry for you.”
“Well I’m touched.” Jed said sarcastically.
“No, I really did felt bad for you. You’re so helpless at the littlest situations.” Raye smiled.
“Is he awake, dear?” Raye and Jed shot their heads in the direction where the nurses’ voice came from. Jed opened his eyes at the same time and moaned at the bright let, but kept his eyes opened. “Guess so! How are you doing hun? You hit your head pretty hard didn’t you? Haha. For some reason these days, you kids just get every chance you could to get hurt. I mean you _teens_ because you aren’t kids. You’ve grown up! You’re pre-adults! Hehe!”
“Uh Nurse Shirley, I think I need to get to class. May I have a pass to class.”
“Well sure Raye! Hold on a sec!”
“Thank You.”
“And might as well write me one since I am feeling _so_ much better!”
“Jed sweetie, are you sure about that? How’s your head?”
“I’m fine Nurse Shirley, really I am.”
“Well OK. But if you feel sleepy come to me and if you have any headaches what so ever, come to me and I’ll give you some aspirin.” Jed nodded and looked towards the door that Raye just went through. “Oh shoot! She left her purse. Do you mind handing this to her? I have to go through all of these physical’s for the upcoming sports. I just-…Thank you!” Jed ran out the door and look both ways for Raye.
‘Think Jed think! What is her 3rd period class? Uh, lets see. She had History, Gym and then she goes down…no, no, no. I’ll just give it to her after school.’ As Jed went to his classroom, gave his note to his 3rd period teacher, sat down in his desk and sighed.
“Jed. Yo Jed.” Whispers were coming from non other than his usually loud head-strong friend, Ned.
“What?” Jed whispered back.
“What happened in gym? Lita said something about Raye hitting you upside your head with the volley ball and you got knocked out!”
“Ned.”
“Yeah?”
“Shut up.”
“But- shutting up!” Ned said this quickly after seeing Jed’s death glare
