Chapter Seven

Haruka Tenou was racing along at over one hundred miles per hour. How she loved the feel of freedom she got every time she raced. She no longer raced in order to try to escape her destiny, she knew there was no escaping it.

Somehow she heard it over the rushing wind. Mixed emotions poured through her. Sadness, for she loved to race, happiness, for she loved the feeling of power she got as Sailor Uranus, and longing to see her old friends.

She pressed the brake, and the car slowed down to a stop, and she heard the announcer over the intercom.

"And it's Haruka Tenou in the lead! But, what is this? She's slowing down, and stopping! Chisoku takes the lead!"

Haruka ignored the announcer, and jumped out of her beloved race car. Somethings were just more important than a race.

With barely a look in either direction, she ran off the track and into the locker room. She pushed the button on her navy colored watch, and then pushed the tiny navy crystal, and listened.

"Here we go again! And this time I am way too old to do this!"

Haruka knew what it meant... her destiny was catching up with her.

Michiru Keiou was oblivious to the crowd in front of her. She just played her heart out. Oh how she loved to play the violin! She was thankful of the chance to fulfill her dreams to play professionally, but somewhere, deep inside, she was ready to go back. She missed the Sailor Senshi, she missed being Sailor Neptune.

In all of her performances, Michiru had never missed a beat, until today. She just could not help it. When she heard the beeping from the teal watch on her wrist, she knew that her wish to see her friends once again was about to come true.

Michiru left the stage, ignoring the gasps from the crowd, and the angry waving of the venue coordinator. As soon as she reached her dressing room, she pushed the button, and then the small teal crystal, and listened.

"Silver Moon Crystal Power Kiss!"

The scream of a monster in pain.

That was all Michiru needed to hear. After putting her violin safely away with a tiny sigh, she left, running.

The next day, Haruka and Michiru were seated side-by-side on a flight to Juuban, each deep within their own thoughts of their destinies. Behind them sat Anila and Meriel, their adopted daughters.
