Carole Harris and Leon were always around but they left for Australia, but we did manage a few dives together from time to time, and met up with them in Puerto Galera in the Philippines back in 2011.
One of my support engineers from Baxter / Fenwal days, Christian is also a diver and we managed to arrange some diving during business trips occasionally, particularly in Jeddah and down in Oman as well as UAE. Although I have changed companies, Christian and I still keep in contact and whenever he is in UAE we usually manage a couple of dives together.
My old friend Martin Strydom from Zimbabwe was here in UAE for a couple of years, and we have managed a couple of dives back in 2004.
In 2010 I met up with another photographer Alastair McGregor, and we have done a few dives recently. He is also the person who put me on to dive with Dive Asia at Puerto Galera in the Philippines, since then I have been back several times.

Past couple of years one of my main buddies has been Dimitris (above), however he moved to UK during the summer of 2014. We did the IANTD Advanced Recreational Trimix course together, one of the best courses since I did my Rescue in 1993.
My daughter was back in Dubai for 18 months after finishing her degree in Edinburgh, and we logged a few more dives together, especially during our trip to North Sulawesi in 2015. She also became a PADI instructor during 2015 and is now studying for her Masters at JCU in Australia.
My key buddy these days is Kerstin (another photographer), and we share our passion for nudibranchs, she's the one on the right below.
