    Anfernee Hardaway
In his first two NBA seasons, Penny Hardaway's unlimited potential had shown through. He was runner-up to Chris Webber in the 1993-94 Rookie of the Year voting. His second season, he was an all-star starter and was named to the All-NBA First Team. Though plagued by injuries for the past two seasons, Penny had led the Magic to the playoffs once again. They were beaten by the Sixers in the first round. Hardaway and the Magic worked out a deal with Phoenix to send Penny out west to join Jason Kidd as the NBA's premiere back court. He and Kidd hope to lead the Suns to an NBA title in 2000.
