OIKODEME: edify... edification...it is an architectural term meaning to build, to construct, not to destruct! When we talk with one another the Word exhorts us to edify one another, to be constructive...not destructive, to build, not to tear down. As we talk with each other let us remember these Words of the Lord!!!
Let the Word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in Psalms and Hymns and Spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.... Colossians 3:16
Let no unwholesome word proceed from our mouth, but only such a word for as is good for the edification according to the need of the moment that it may give grace to those who hear...Ephesians 4:29
