| Welcome to the BlueMoon Acres Website. Our horse farm is located in
Oxford, Michigan. BMA is dedicated to breeding, raising, training, and showing Morgan
horses. Until such time as our facilities can be sufficiently expanded, we are currently
limited to one brood mare, one gelding being trained, and one dog. |

| BlueMoon Acres got its start in the winter of `97 with the
purchase of its first horse, a chestnut mare called Lee. The spring of `99 saw the birth
of Lee's son Hercules, who has since been gelded. Finally, our dog, Athena, came to us as
a puppy in the summer of `00. In a few years, the farm hopes to breed Lee again and get a
filly. |
| We at BlueMoon Acres enjoy breeding, raising, training, and ultimately,
showing our stock. Lee has been successfully shown in western, huntseat, halter, carriage
driving, trail, reining, and gymkhana. The shows have ranged from local 4-H shows to the
class-A Michigan All-Morgan Horse Show. Hercules has just turned three and is being
worked under saddle. Eventually, he will be broke to harness as well, but for now we
have no cart to work him in. |
