ANNIS Paul B. Annis Sr., 59, from Buffalo, NY, passed away early Tuesday, November 30, 1999. He is survived by daughters, Rhonda Luker and Michelle (Brian Keltner) Chapman; sons, P. Bradley (Carrie) Annis Jr., and Jeffrey T. (Sheri) Annis; brothers, Lee Annis, Portland, Oreg., and Robert Annis; former wife, Linda Goldstein; grandchildren, Kara, Ashley, Leigha, Aryn, Jordan, Lehne, Randi, Korey, Celina, Austin, Bradley; and great-grandson, Eric. Family will receive friends Wednesday 6-9 p.m. at the COTNER FUNERAL HOME, 7369 East Main Street, Reynoldsburg, where his funeral will be Thursday at 11 a.m. Pastor Randy Feldschau officiating. Interment Blendon Township Cemetery.

Benjamin Annis was the son of Rolfe Annis and Sarah (Rollins) Annis. He married circa 1787, Sarah Phelps,and had one child; married 2nd, September 19, 1791, Eunice Phelps at Goshen, New Hampshire, and had four children.
Benjamin removed to Madison County, New York by 1810, and was residing at Covington, New York in 1820, before following his sons Abraham and Ira to Ohio. He was a veteran of the Revolutionary War and his grave is marked with the identification of a soldier of the American Revolution. There are many records of Benjamin residing at Vermont, New Hampshire and Ohio.
