I Love Band!

Welcome to my Band page! This is my tribute to the best thing on Earth :) I love band SOOOOO much!

This is Mr. Martin in Florida, leading the parade at Disney! (my sophomore year, which would be 96)

This is the ever famous Skit Night at band camp. Anything is possible! This is my junior year band camp, 97.

All the leaders of the band :) (of course my senior year, fall 98.

Marching Band awards :) (This was the plaque that had my name on it for drum major.)

Yes we do love him!

...his last time

Our gift to him, a scrapbook with all kinds of memories and pictures :)

This is me and my favorite teacher and band director ever at his goodbye party: Mr. Martin! Visit his new home at Hayo-went-ha!

This was our replacement director for Miss Furman, Mr. Rizzuto. He was only with us the last 2 weeks of school, but he was great! (yes...he's...ahem...hot too) :)

COMING SOON! Spartan Marching Band pictures and info! :)

Ok so I have no working scanner now so I can't scan pictures... but here's some info. :) I've just completed my 3rd season in the SMB color guard. I tried out for color guard because there are no flutes and clarinets in the SMB, and I really wanted to be in marching band. :) I'm so glad I did! It's one of the greatest things I've ever been a part of in my life! The Spartan Marching Band is the best band in the world. We have a great history and wonderful traditions. The greatest times in the band include 2 VICTORIES over U of M! in 1999 and 2001!! (oh...just a second!) And of course 2 bowl games... Citrus Bowl, Jan 1, 2000...and the Silicon Valley Bowl, Dec 31, 2001. Both victories OF COURSE!

Aaron, me and Andrew, all former drum majors from NW and SMB members :)

This is Andrew, Aaron, me, Casey, Jacob, Mr. Martin, and Whitiker at that lousy U of M game this fall. It was good to see all the NW alum though and to be able to take this way cute picture :) (Thanks to Mr. Martin of course!)

I love band SO much that I am now the colorguard instructor at NW! It's awesome! I did it this year, and Nate Kruse has asked me to return next year :) I also got another job as instructor at Vandercook Lake HS, for Paul Bickel! (keyboard player of Huckleberry Groove!

How else do you know that I love band? Well, I'm currently playing flute in Campus Band, for my second time here at MSU. I'm also Vice President of Tau Beta Sigma! (see link below) :)
