Book Reviews

Soapmaking for Fun and Profit by Maria Given Nerius

Review by Keith:

I like the business aspects of the book, filing a name for your business, getting a checking account, even if your doing this small scale it can be helpful as you can then buy wholesale!! She has some great Melt and pour as well as cold and hot process soap projects, there is a little info on making mixtures of different scents, I wish there were more pictures, there are, however, a few color plates in the center, there is more of an emphasis on soapmaking that involves lye than melt and pour type soaps, a lot of the resources in the back of the book lack web sites (I found a lot just using a search engine).
