The Cody High School Class of 1966 10 year class reunion was held at the Plymouth Hilton Hotel
Plymouth, Michigan,
Saturday, August 14, 1976

(Just a little thought about that ~ The Plymouth Hilton doesn't even exist today!  Believe it or not ~ It is housing for the elderly!)

Our Cody High 1966 Class Reunion Master of Ceremonies was none other than the great radio personality, Dick Purtan.  Needless to say, we had a great turn out and fun was had by all!

On a sadder note, if anyone listens to the Dick Purtan Show these days ~ Gene Taylor who had worked with him for many years, passed away in January 2001 of an Asthma attack.  If you did not know, Gene Taylor went to Cody High School ~ graduated, I believe in 1965 ~ His name in high school was Gene Herships.  He helped with the Cody Broadcasting Network and was also in the Theatre Guild.   I am sure he will be missed by many!  

   In memory of Gene Taylor/Herships  You will be missed Gene . . .
