About Me

I grew up in a small town with a population under 400. When I graduated from high school, some of my first classes at TAMU had more students than the population of my town !

I graduated from Texas A&M University in May of 2006 with a B.S. in Mathematics.

I'm looking forward to graduating with a Masters in Mathematics Teaching in May of 2008.

Interests

Activities

  1. I have been tutoring mathematics for as long as I have been a math student. For the past few years, I have been tutoring students at the Learning Center of Blinn College in Bryan, TX.
  2. For the past two semesters, I have additionally worked for the Math Department at TAMU as a teaching assitant for Calculus I for Engineers, which was very fulfulling but busy.
  3. This next semester, I will be working as a NSF GK12 Fellow helping to provide rural school teachers and students immediate access to enhanced science/math. There's a link below to learn more.
