Bella Swan moves to Forks, Washington to live with her father. She soon becomes attracted to Edward Cullen. Soon she learns that he is a member of the Cullen vampire family. Edward and Bella fall in love but their relationship is in danger. James, a vampire from another coven, is determined to hunt Bella. Edward and the other Cullens defend Bella. Bella goes back to Arizona, however she is tracked down by James. Edward rescues her and they return to Forks after killing James.
