This concludes the cross-departmental training. In review, standard operating procedures for university processes can greatly effect roles in several departments. By understanding our own roles, as well as the roles of others we can begin to provide excellent student service. 


The next step and follow-up to this training is to demonstrate your understanding of how other roles are included in your daily tasks by pairing up with a co-worker from another department.  During this meeting, brainstorm the standard operating procedures and tasks that you complete on a daily basis.  Next, discuss your individual contributions and how they relate to one another.  Share your findings with your manager within two weeks of completing this tutorial.
