Candice and Julius met in the Spring of 2002 while attending Albany State University. They took a World History class together and sat on opposite sides of the room. They never even spoke until April 2002 when they found out they had mutual friends while attending a party. Their friendship evolved into love and they officially began dating on October 27, 2002. 5 years later, on October 27, 2007, Julius popped the question. Candice and Julius were sitting down at home having a private candlelit dinner. He gave her a box that said "With every step, love grows". Inside it was a photo album. Julius asked Candice if she would help him fill the album with new memories. Then, Julius got down on one knee and asked her to marry him. She said yes!!!
