Document Processing
Course Description:
Introduces basic formatting of business letters, one and two page reports, tables and memorandums using Windows word processing software. Skill building is provided to enable students to develop an ending speed beyond 38 words a minute requirement.
Course Prerequisites:
Demonstrated 30 words a minute for 3 minutes with 3 or fewer errors using correct fingering.
Enroll in 998-120 Keyboarding Pretest to determine placement.
Completion of the Course
To receive a final grade for Document Processing, you must complete the requirements for the course. Please be aware of the course ending date so you can finish the course on time. If you do not complete the course by the end of the semester, you will have to enroll again. By managing your time and working productively, weekly goals can be met which will enable you to successfully complete the course on time!
