Ratbat

We're not really sure if Ratbat's actually Ratbat. Confused? I'll explain...I found Ratbat at the same carboot sale as Wurgle, and since he turned into a bat, was black and purple and was pretty small, I decided he must be one of Soundwave's cassettes I'd heard of called - you guessed it - Ratbat. However, the poor kid turns from bat to robot, so he can't be a cassette. Everyone was getting pretty confused by that point, as I wasn't too sure if Ratbat wasn't just a cleverly inserted fanchara in a fic I'd read or if he was really real, so I settled it by just calling him Ratbat anyway. So don't sue me anyone... As a toy, his legs were stuck together. So I operated and spent an afternoon taking him apart and putting him back together so now his legs move independently. His knees are still backwards, though, but that's the designer's fault not mine, believe it or not... Despite all this, Ratbat's the sweetest, innocent little dear in the 'box. Ever. Even the D-cons don't mind him being around, and with some of the arguments they get into with Dinobot and Wurgle, well...that's saying something. He's curious, inquisitive and really good company. All together - awwww!

Little intriguing Ratbat bits

• He has the most adorable big smile on his face in robot mode. I picked him up, took one look and decided he was mine. He's too sweet looking to be an official baddie, so he's a neutral - or something - even though I like my baddies. He's just too cute!
• He's a sweet natured little thing.
• He has purple bits on his ears! Okay, they're not really 'ears', they're bits on his helmet, but they're purple! And shiny! Oooh!
