Sins of the past

Has anyone ever cared to wonder why Starscream, a scientist from the best Academy on Cybertron, not one to conform to the antiquated stereotypes that clung to those of his make, a mech with a happy enough background and a bondmate he adored, would join the Decepticons? ... No. I thought not. If someone else had, if none of this had come to pass, then there may have been more hope for him. If anyone had been left to know, there may have been a chance for salvation then and there... but they didn't. No-one did - no-one could. I know that if someone else had been there to help him, talk to him, this whole horrible mess would have been avoided. But now... Now it's too late. Far too late for Ripplewing, Lander or anyone else to help him, and the one person who might have gotten through is lost to him forever.
