SHANGHAI NOODLE SNACK

Ingredients:
1 lb. chicken egg noodles
1 qrt. boil;ing water
SAUCE
2 tbsp rice wine
1 tbsps light soy sauce
1 1/4 cup light stock
1 small piece ginger root, thinly sliced
4 green onions, thinly sliced diagonally
Meat from one large crab or 6 oz. frozen or canned crabmeat

HOW TO COOK.....?

CHICKEN CHOP SUEY

Ingredients:
2 tbsps. light soy sauce
1 tsp. brown sugar
salt to taste
1 lb. boned chicken, cut into 1 -inch pieces
1 tbsp. cooking oil
1 onion, cut into chunks
2 cups bean sprouts
2 tsps sesame oil
1/4 tsp msg (optional)
1 tbsp cornstarch

HOW TO COOK.....?

SPICED BEEF

Ingredients:
MARINADE:
1 tsp. sugar
2-3 star anise,ground
1/2 tsp. ground fennel
1 tsp dark soy sauce
1/4 tsp monosodium glutamate(optional)
1 lb. fillet of beef, cut into 1 -inch strips
1 inch fresh root ginger,peeled and crushed
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. oil
4 green oinions
1/2 tsp freshly ground black pepper
1 tbsp. light sauce
