In January of 2003, I issued myself a challenge. Every day, I would write a new story. Each story would be only one page. It could be shorter but none of them could be longer than a page and each one had to have a beginning, middle and end. This experiment was meant to teach me several things. First, the discipline of actually sitting down and writing something every day. Second, the use of my imagination on a regular basis. Third, economy of words. How long can I keep it going? We'll find out!
In the meantime, as I finish each 1pg'er, I will post the results here. I heartily encourage everyone to check them out and let me know what you think. Please bear in mind that these are experimental writings, done pretty much stream of consciousness with virtually no planning beforehand.
Hope you enjoy the stories and wish me luck!
