Aquila's Sure Prize ( Futurity Command x Aquila's Grand Prize )

Prize has proven herself an invaluable broodmare three times over. First she gave us a gorgeous dark buckskin filly we liked so much we decided to retain her. Then she gave our good friend Laurie Shroyer-Faust of MLB Morgans a stunning light buckskin colt that won his way to the Grand Nationals and stands at stud at her farm in Florida. And finally Prize gave us a perlino colt that we made the hard decision to geld and he is now available for sale as a kind and gentle riding mount. He can be seen here . That makes her total color production 100% so far. We would like to raise another foal or two from Prize in the future but as far we're concerned she doesn't owe us another thing. She has a home with us for life as a treasured friend and an incomparable foundation mare. Her foals have all been kind, gentle, and beautiful with lots of natural action and type. She is without a doubt one of our very best. *Photo by Sasha Gubanov taken in 10/2010* | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Prize reminds us of her beautiful sire, Futurity Command, only with a golden coat. She has his gorgeous head and smooth bodied round Morgan build. She is a classic beauty and we never tire of looking at her. We feel very fortunate to be steward to such a remarkable animal. She has a kind disposition like you would expect from a Morgan and is a bit quirky too! When you feed her a treat she will suck her tongue afterward in contentment. She really is a pleasure to be around. *Photo by Sasha Gubanov taken in 10/2010*

We hope that this lovely mare will continue to contribute to the breed with her very worthy offspring. We would entertain on farm breeding lease, or in certain cases, an off farm breeding lease just so that she may have a few more foals since we are not ready at this time.
