Prince is a lovely example of a Morgan in any color. It is all the more exciting and "icing" on the cake that he is a shade of cream. We have had him tested by the UC Davis Color Genetics Lab out in CA and they confirmed by DNA that he is a perlino. What we like best about Prince and his unusual color is that he fits the breed ideal so completely there is never a doubt in anyone's mind what breed he is! We had Prince up for sale most of his life but when it came down to it and we had some interest I realized I could never part with him. He is just so sweet and friendly and I have really bonded with him. I call him my blue eyed white Golden Retriever. He isn't afraid of anything and will do anything you ask. He LOVES people. He wants to be with people more than he wants to be with the other horses. When you walk out into the field he falls all over himself to be the horse chosen. And when you hold out the halter he puts his head in it for you. Many of my lesson students had fallen in love with him and so had I. We decided to retain him as a lesson horse and solid guest horse here at the farm. I know I can trust Prince with anybody. So here he stays! He will always be one of a kind. Prince has several paternal siblings and two maternal siblings. Both sides of the family have produced world class show horses who have proved their ability on the A Rated show circuit. One breeding program in particular has really benefited from the Aquila Morgans and has produced two of the most outstanding colorful Morgans in the breed to date. The palomino Morgan mare MLB The Madame is Prince's paternal sister. She won the title Regional Grand Champion Mare In Hand awarded at the 2003 Citrus Cup Regional Show and is the first palomino mare to win the title in the history of the breed. She continued her 2003 show career with two top 10 placements in both the Morgan Grand National 2 yr old pleasure driving and the World Futurity 2 yr old pleasure driving at the 2003 Morgan Grand Nationals. Think of it as the Superbowl of the Morgan breed. The buckskin stallion MLB Capo Di Capo is Prince's maternal brother and also has made his way to the Grand Nationals, winning qualifying classes all over Florida. He has shown on the A rated circuit in the pleasure driving division, the hunter division, and most recently the western pleasure division exemplifying the reknowned verstatility of the Morgan horse. He has been called by many of the countries top Morgan breeders "The most beautiful and correct colorful Morgan in the breed."
