Skyland Superb Dream (Legacy's Viking x Heritage Relic)

We sold Dream as a yearling and were very fortunate to bring her back home in 2010. She is the second foal of the first foundation Morgan mare of our breeding program and is sired by the legendary 11 time WC stallion Legcay's Viking. Her pedigree is particularly exciting as she is chock full of wonderful classic bloodlines up close but with no crosses to Nocturne making her a fantastic outcross for Nocturne bred stallions. *Photo by K. Both Dream and her maternal sister, Emma, exhibit signs of being sabino. They have disconnected spots of white on their coats, spots of white on their chins, and slight roaning throughout the coat. Dream has this unusual blaze that has produced many guesses from her admirers as to what the blaze is shaped like. We have gotten everything from an eagle talon to a heart to a beer bottle opener! We believe Dream has the potential if bred to the correct stallions to produce loud and exciting sabinos. We hope to explore this theory in the future. Not to mention she has a wonderful wealth of dapples! All of the Morgans we currently own do. We think dapples are a Morgan thing. We just love them! *Photo by K. This lovely red mare has always had a lot of get up and go! She has never worn shoes or leather. What you see here is all natural. We feel that is key to a potential good producer. Since she has a natural gift she can pass that on to her offspring. Both her sire and dam have great hocks and she definitely inherited them. Not a bad engine up front either. We are really excited to see what Dream can produce in the future. These are the most current photos of Dream as an adult. To see her as a foal visit here. Her dam is one of our forever foundation keepers and can be seen here. Since we are taking a break in producing foals for the moment she is open. We would really love to see her start producing for a sabino program. We would entertain an on farm breeding lease, or in certain cases, an off farm breeding lease.
