Living Your Life For Christ>

Living Your Life For Christ

~~~~ Life In General ~~~~
The first thing to remember was said by Jesus;
"Love the Lord your God with all your heart
and with all your soul and with all your strength."
Deuteronomy6:5
He also said,"My command is this:Love each other as I have loved you." John15:12
These are the two most important commandments given to us.
By following these two you will go far towards living
your life for Christ. God loves us unconditionally,
and this is how we should love others.
Some of the best advice I can give you is to STOP and think
before you do or say something you may regret.
Think about how it would feel if the shoe was on the other foot;
you know the drill, Do unto others as you would have others do unto you.
Follow the 10 Commandments.
They are the laws set forth by God for us. I will be adding to my commandments page later
going into more depth on exactly what each one means.
Live as a child of light, put off your old self and live a new life.
You must put aside your anger,and bitterness, and learn to forgive.
For as God forgave us in Christ we must also forgive others.
You can find more on this subject in Ephesians 4:17-21
The entire book of Ephesians is a good place
to learn about how to live your new life
~~~~ Purity ~~~~

On this subject there is only one answer. You are to stay pure until marriage.
This applies to both men and women. I know alot of people
out there are saying easier said than done,
but if you look at it from the following perspective
it may not be as hard as you would think:

Picture your wedding day.....
Your future spouse is waiting for you at the other end of the aisle.
As you draw closer together and gaze into each others eyes,
you realize that this person whom you are marrying
has loved you their whole life! How is that possible ?
Well let me tell you! A man or woman's purity is a precious gift
that can only be given once in a lifetime.
If you remain pure until you marry, it is because you loved that person enough to wait,
even when you had no idea who they were;
you put your faith in God that He had already picked out
your husband or wife for you and that this person was worth
remaining pure for because they would be the love of your life!
Isn't that the most awesome feeling in the world?
So you see, even though you had never met this person
you already loved them enough to wait for them.

Then the Lord God made a woman from the rib He had taken from the man,
and he brought her to the man. The man said,
"This is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh;
she shall be called 'woman', for she was taken out of man."
For this reason a man will leave his father and mother
and be united to his wife, and they will become one flesh.
Genesis 2:22-24

~~~~ Love ~~~~
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not boast, it is not proud.
It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.
Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.
It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perserveres. 1 Corinthians 13:4-7
I think this particular verse sums it all up pretty well.
This applies to all love, be it for your spouse, friends, family, neighbors or strangers.
God loves us all unconditionally, not just when we are doing what he wants us to.
The greatest love there is!
~~~~ Faith ~~~~

Faith is very important. It is not always easy to fully depend on God.
But you must have faith in Jesus Christ.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding;
in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6
