This is one of GC's best games. In addition to the fighting mode you can also play a Home Run Contest, Adventure, and Allstar modes. The first Super Smash Bros. was a great game with up to eight characters, but Super Smash Bros. Melee takes the cake. The characters get an upgrade in attacks and offense. You now have four different attacks and can pause in mid air to dodge an attack. If you don't have it already its more than worth a try.
