A HOLY BAND OF
ANGELS
Well, this is a JOYFUL
picture! When it comes to angels, we
have to use a bit of imagination I believe they have different personalities,
just as we do, and I KNOW THEY LOVE MUSIC & WORSHIP!!! The Bible tells about
their particular job descriptions:
messengers, announcers, bringers of judgment, care-takers, and ministering
spirits…etc. But it also shows them in Revelation as falling on their faces
in worship & praises & singing and joining with the nations in
adoration to Christ. In this painting, you
see they have different colors of hair, and different shapes of faces. Who
knows? Why not? The earth was created after the pattern of
Heaven wasn’t it?? CAN you imagine a Heavenly Angel Band like this? …and we will be part of it! And, since earth is
patterned after Heaven, …I believe the Lord expects us to be doing this
worship down here on earth…………we must not wait till Heaven. He expects us to PRAISE HIM In ALL situations, and
WORSHIP HIM with enthusiasm and in Spirit and Truth! I believe that’s the
main thing………and if we do that truly from our hearts….all the otherthings we
should do for Him .will just pour out naturally from an over-flowing well… DON’T
WAIT TILL HEAVEN TO SING WITH ANGELS!
JOIN WITH THEM NOW! The Holy Spirit can
GIVE YOU A NEW SONG, straight from Heaven!
And when He does, God expects you to SING that song back to Him, and
let every demon in Hell hear you singing that song. It is praise, … it is warfare all at the same time. You don’t have to make a program about
it. AND.. The Lord will smile as you
sing to Him…even if you are out of tune! What greater reward could you ask
for? THE SMILE
OF JESUS….WOW! You may pray for the
anointing so you can preach, teach, sing, witness, & pray for people… But
we need a WORSHIP anointing just so WE
CAN MINISTER TO GOD … Once we get into
that GLORY…it touches & illuminates everything else we do FOR Him. Sound like simple theology? Too easy for great theological minds? Oh, how refreshing …how pleasant…how awesome it
is to sing to HIM, our King…our
Father, our bridegroom, shepherd, redeemer,
Savior, Lord, comforter,
strength, healer,
baptizer, counselor, peace,
life-giver, hope, warrior,
shield, tower…etc, etc, etc, etc. If you just speak out
all of the above…a song will surely rise up in your heart… He’s so wonderful! Carol Hall, Japan |
