Scene Nine

Outside Ashley's house, cops are swarming about the place. We also see an ambulance. Close up to the paramedics putting a stretcher with a body bag in it. We cut to SHERIFF BURTON, Springwood's sheriff. He is about 50-55 years old, ready to retire. He has a look of sadness in his eyes.

Burton(under his breath)
Goddamn shame when the crazies get the young ones.

CUT TO:
We see a car, possibly a Lexus, drive by. We see it pull up to the house. The car door opens, and a shocked Neil gets out. He walks over to Burton.

Neil
Sheriff, what happened here?

Burton
Murder. A teenage girl named Ashley Shiner. But the strange thing is, there was absolutely no signs of forced entry, and the girl was alone, and all the doors were locked from the inside. We got a call from a neighbor who heard screams.

Neil
Any chance this could be a suicide?

Burton
Well, with the things that were done to this girl, I sure as hell hope not. She was slashed repeatedly, then gutted. If this is a suicide, I'm not on the old Viagra to have my way with the missus.

Neil
So I guess it's a suicide.

CUT TO:
A car, an older Jeep or Tracker driving up. Out of it jump Jonathan, Christina, Mandy and Nancy.

Mandy(crying hysterically)
ASHLEY!!

Both Mandy and Christina are crying. Jonathan and Nancy are more shocked at the whole scene.

Jonathan
What the fuck is going on here?!?

Nancy
It's all starting again. He got her.

CUT BACK TO:

Neil looking at the scene, he turns around and something arouses his interest. We see he's looking at Nancy.

Neil
Nancy? Nancy is that you?

Nancy looks up.

Nancy
Neil!

Neil
Nancy, what are you doing here?

Nancy
Well, my boss decided I needed some time off, and I decided to come home.

Neil
No, not Springwood. What are you doing at the scene of a murder?

Nancy
Friends of the girl brought me. Neil, it's happening again.

Neil
What's happening again?

Nancy
He's back

Neil
Who?

Nancy
Krueger.
