Scene Ten

Neil and Nancy are in Neil's office.

Neil
Nancy, I hope you know how crazy this sounds.

Nancy
I know it sounds crazy Neil, but it's true.

Neil
Nancy, why would he be back?

Nancy
Well, I can think of a couple of reasons. One being the fact that he never finished the job, and until he does, he can't die.

Neil
The other?

Nancy
He has a child, maybe he needs to find his child first.

Neil
Nancy, how do you know he has a child?

Nancy
When I was 16 years old, I was talking to Edna Delaney, about him. She knew his mother. And she told me that he had a child. The child was adopted, and the mother left town. That's all I know.

Neil
This is crazy Nancy.

Nancy
Is it really? Neil, you lived it too. Can't you for one second believe what is happening instead of suppressing it? You saw what happened you know he killed Taryn and Will. He also killed Philip, and Jennifer. He almost killed me too. (Beat)I just can't figure out how he's killing kids whose parents weren't involved with the fire. (with revelation in her eyes) Neil, where's Kristin? I need to talk to her.

Neil
Nancy, I don't think you're ready to talk about it...

Nancy(Forcefully)
No Neil, I need to talk to Kristin.

Neil
Nancy, Kristin died. Three years ago.

Nancy
What?

Neil
Kristin, Joey, and Kincaid all died within a day of each other. It was a triple suicide, at least that's what the cops said. Once Kincaid and Joey went, Kristin couldn't handle it. They just lost the will to live. A few of their friends killed themselves too. Only one lived to tell about it.

Nancy

Neil
A girl named Alice Johnson.

Nancy
