Behold what manner of love that we should be called the sons of God!
There is no need to de-genderize the word "sons" because they are the ones who got the birthright & inheritance.
God is not excluding women; He calls us all sons.
It is a good thing to be a Christian. The stigma that the world attaches to Christianity comes from an anti-christ spirit.
You're better of on your worst day as a Christian than an unsaved man is on his best day. On the days you don't feel qualified to be a Christian, God loves you.
1John2:1- My dear children, I write this to you so that you will not sin. But if anybody does sin, we have one who speaks to the Father in our defense- Jesus Christ, the Righteous One.
It's been said like this:
If you get hurt in an accident, you qualify for an ambulence.
If you get sick, you qualify to call a doctor.
If you feel bad about your sins, you qualify for a Savior.
Remember Colossians 1:12- giving thanks to the Father who has qualified us to share in the inheritance of the saints in light.
1Corinthians 1:30 says it is by HIS doing you are in Christ Jesus...
If you have regrets/mistakes in the back of your mind robbing you of God's approval, let it go. His love supercedes that.
He doesn't love you less because after you became a Christian you messed up. He's the same. Why? Because God doesn't have love for you- God IS love. It's His nature! Fix yourself back on that!
There is no need to fear the adversary when you have the advocate.
And whenever you det attacked by Satan, the accuser, note this:
At the baptism of Jesus heaven was opened. The Spirit decended like a dove & a voice came from heaven saying, "This is my beloved son, in whom I am well pleased."
It was before Jesus did any miracles or good works. That's how God feels about you.
Do not disqualify yourself.
