Heart rate monitoring

The heart rate is a usefully estimation for lactic acid release, so it can be used to optimize the race and training performance.

I uploaded next graphics:

  1. Sprint triathlon my heart rate average was under 170 bpm (beats per minute) for around 1 hour long.
  2. 21km race ½ marathon, pulse was under 160 for around 1:45 long.
  3. In the iron man GFT, (much long time) I have proposed don’t go up from 142, because I considered it was my aerobic maximum limit (I am 44 years old). However, it was impossible to do at each part on route.

All of this is related to my own experience; each people may be different, and the same person is different according to training.

For me, I have trouble for go under 145 at beginning of bike and run (even when I got some of worst biking time in my age category), If we got less faster at beginning, probably we could make a better final time?

So I would like to know what is the right heart limit for each race, who knows that?

So we must to do a study for each race. I would like to know opinions about the heart rate during this kind of exercise.
