Segments
Last updated on January 21, 1998

The following is a list of segments that are being planned for the first and second episodes or are still in the idea stage. See the shooting schedule for what is coming up this week, or the episode guide for what is scheduled at the moment to be in the next episode.

Read through them, and if you are interested in participating in any of them, sign up with the appropriate form.

Note that all names are subject to change, and may possible change gender as well!
If you have any suggestions for revisions to these characters or new characters, fill in the form below.

The Weekly Poll
Each week, a reporter goes out and to ask a question of the general population, and every week it is the same guy answering, Warren, the compulsive liar, no matter what question is or if it even applies to him. As the series progresses, the reporter will try devising questions that Warren isn't qualified to answer, resulting in more elaborate lies by Warren as he tries to prove that is. See characters for a more detailed description of Warren.

The Real Life Adventures of Kermit the Frog
Every week, we will see Kermit the Frog as we have never seen him before: smoking, drinking, speeding, making out with other guy's girlfriends, and basically becoming the biggest man on campus.

The Medieval Lego Epic
Possibly every episode will feature another installment in the continuing adventures of King Gregor and his knights of the square blocks, as the Black Knight and his evil minions try to capture King Gregor's castle. Featuring a cast of recurring characters, the Lego Epic will be done with live action, though all hands and wires will be invisible. The soundtrack will be recorded in advance of the filming, thus giving any actors interested in doing voice acting an opportunity doing the next best thing to cartoons.

Spoofs of College Recruitment Commercials
Since this is going to be a college produced show, it might be cool if we did spoofs of those new TV ads that entice young high school students to come to their specific college. Some might be:

Uncle Vinnie's House of Diplomas - You know, where the president is kinda sleazy, and it promisses diplomas with minimal effort. The diploma factory.

The Friendly College - The kind of place where those darn profs just wont stop hugging you.

The Babe College - The kind of "Animal House" college where there's nothing but babes and it's just one unending party.

Gravity
Possibly a weekly segment on "How to get gravity to work for you!" or "Making the Most of Gravity", or possibly a one-time commercial. "You know, a lot of people don't think about gravity. Sure gravity can be a bad thing if, for example, it pulls you down a staircase faster than you wanted to go, or pulls your airplane out of the sky, or even keeps pulling your glasses down your nose. We all know how annoying THAT can be.

But gravity can be good, too. Most people fail to think about all of the things that gravity can do to make your life easier. Think about it. It's a force of nature, like electricity, hurricanes, and death. But unlike other forces of nature, it's readily available. You don't have to wait for gravity to show up, or worry that it will be more powerful than you were expecting. Gravity is all around us, like dirt, and best of all, it's free.

Wearing a hat that you don't feel like reaching up to remove from your head? No problem. Let gravity do it for you. Scared of heights? There's no need to stand on a chair to reach something on a high shelf. Let gravity do it for you. (guy shaking a shelf, and a whole load of crap falls on him. The uses for gravity are infinite.

Make gravity your friend. Use it to do your work for you. And best of all, it's free!"

We could focus on a different thing every week (or every other week, whatever). Of course there would always be that humor that it takes more work to get gravity to do the work than it would have to just do it yourself.

Or else it could be condensed into one commercial, used only once.

"Actors are wild animals, and as such, are unpredictable. Approach with caution."
It's a play on the sign by Mirror Lake, saying "Swans are wild animals, and as such, are unpredictable. Approach with caution." or something to that effect. We would change the word "Swans" to "Actors" and get three or four actors to stand by it.

This segment will appear every week, and will require five actors each week, though it could possibly be the same five. This segment will be typed out soon, for it takes a long time to descirbe even thought the dialogue in it is minimal.

World Thumb Wrestling Federation
There's a wrestling ring lit with a single spotlight, and the rest of the room is dark. The crowd roars, and the ring announcer says, "This match is scheduled for one fall. Now entering the ring at 280 lbs, from Atlanta, Georgia, The Macho Man, Randy Savage!" His music plays, the crowd roars, and a a spotlight shines on a thumb with a mean face drawn on it, as it makes its way to the ring, acting all mean and though. The same goes for his opponent. Then they wrestle.

Half of the humor will be seeing these thumbs wrestle in a real wrestling atmosphere. The other half of the humor will be hearing the play-by-play and seeing these thumbs trying to perform the moves being described. "Oh, and a body slam by the Macho Man." How would a thumb look doing a body slam? Without the announcer saying it's a body slam, we'd probably never guess. Every week we'll have different matches, and may even do wrestling commercials where one guy says "I'm gonna git you, Hogan, if it's the last thing I ever do!" The humor would be in the match SOUNDING completely real, yet looking absolutely absurd.
