I first got really interested in MLAATR because a couple of friends begged me to see it with them. At first I thought it was going to be REALLY bad. After all, I usually avoid partaking in watching the new Nickelodeon shows they've tried to market recently. Not to mention I'm also supposedly supposed to be boycotting them, along with thousands of other people, because they canceled Invader Zim and wouldn't cancel Rocket Power. (I've provided a link with more information at the bottom of the page.) Not to mention, I'm not really into the robot thing. But I finnaly gave in and sat down to watch it. While I admittidly enjoyed it, I still felt a little guilty for breaking the boycott, and when I went to the NickDisk message board to confess that I had watched and liked it, it turned out just about everyone else said the same thing. Within 1 week (a record for our board) we already had a MLAATR forum. Our favorite thing to do is post fan fictions, fanart, and us girls usually find time to talk about our favorite fan-created coupling: Jenny and Brad. (Though the boys don't care much for this type of conversation...) The one thing that imppresses all of us about this show is that it can take a plot revolving around a robot and get an insermountable amount of girl fans. The story is about a light blue and white robot, Jenny. (Formally known as X-J9) Who is really only five years old, but built as a teenager. Although she enjoys saving the world, she'd much rather be hanging out with her friends at the skate park then stopping a meteor from chrashing to earth. And although every single boy fan of this show will deny it for as long as they live, everyone knows that Jenny and her best friend Brad make just the cutest couple. So what if they don't come out and say it? That's the fun part: seeking out the tiny hints that they drop. (It's kind of like a Marlin and Dory thing if that's how you want to put it...) (Though when I bring either of these couplings up to my best friend Sari, I just get a solid "whatever floats your boat" from her.) You can take a look around by clicking on the different links.
