Welcome to the Greenmount Senior Center

KOREAN DANCE GROUP-- This dance is the most common dance known in Korea as a whole. This tradition dates back to the dynasty era. This dance is unlike any other in such that the dance uses fans and Korean styled dresses that cover up the leggings. The style of dance differs to those of the Western decent. The traditional dance upholds elegance and beauty with the hands. Greenmount Senior Center introduces the Korean Fan Dance. 12 ordinary senior members turned into 12 extraordinary fan dancers.

Many performances were held in the year 2003, especially in the month of May. On May 20th the fan dance team performed at the Maryland Departmanet of Human Resources Center, then performed to the Transportation Authority on the 21st of May. They also performed to the Maryland Department of Labor and Licensing on the 23rd. Finally performed in the Renaissance Hotel in the Inner Harbor on the 15th of July.
