U.S. Department of Justice ADA site --- Provides access to statute and regulations text. Also includes a variety of governemnt documents explaining major points of the law and answers to FAQs. Also includes some enforcement and technical assistance resources.
Americans with Disabilities Act Technial Assistance Program --- Designed to be completely accessible to people with disabilities, this site provides access to a catalog of ADA information in several languages. Also provides links to ADA information from many federal agencies and ADA-related news.
- Emergency Medical Treatment and Active Labor Act (EMTALA)
EMTALA.com --- Sponsored by a Michigan law firm, this site includes information about the history of EMTALA (including some relevant court cases). Also provides access to text of law and regulations.
- Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA)
Department of Health and Human Services HIPAA Site--- A federal government site that includes links to the bill's text, official guidance documents, and answers to FAQs. One can also sign up for a listserv that allows access to updated information as it becomes available.
HIPAAdvisory---Maintained by Phoenix Health Systems, this site includes frequently updated news items related to HIPAA and medical privacy issues. Also includes specific guidance documents tailored to the privacy, security, and transaction/code sets aspects of the law.
