"Mr. Ed's Barn of Thought" was a popular bi-weekly column that I penned for Red & Black the official student newspaper of Catonsville Community College in Baltimore, Md. The column ran from September 1994 to December 1996, and was read and enjoyed by students and faculty alike. I've been told that some teachers used it as required reading in their Reading classes and Achieving Academic Success classes. In the Summer of 1996, Barn of Thought became a stage production, with many of the columns turning up in a story about a best friend's wedding. (A whole year before Julia Roberts did it!)
