Rini is the Sailor Scouts' newest mystery. She enters the scene quite suddenly, falling out of the sky (and right on top of Serena and Darien). Since then, the precious little girl has assumed the identity of Serena's cousin and has become an even greater irritation than Sammy ever was. One of her most annoying habits is to slip into Serena's bedroom in the middle of the night and snuggle up in Serena's bed. Rini's also started to establish a bond with Darien (making Serena totally jealous), and, though she won't admit it, Rini also feels something funny about Serena.
Later, the Scouts and Tuxedo Mask learn that Rini has been brought back in time from the future to search for her mother and the Imperium Silver Crystal. It seems that her future is under attack by the Negamoon, and she needs to find them both. Of course, Serena has the crystal, but she isn't flat out giving it away just yet.
So, when she finally finds out who has it, Rini simply takes it, and that causes all sorts of trouble. However, it becomes clear that the fight will have to be taken to the future if there is to be any chance to win, so Rini takes the Sailor Scouts into the future. When she gets there, however, she is shocked. Crystal Tokyo is in ruins!
Remember how Rini seems strangely attracted to Serena and Darien? A spirit in the future reveals that the two are indeed her parents (though you've probably figured that out by now). Rini feels she's responsible for the chaos in Crystal Tokyo, for it was when she took the Imperium Silver Crystal of the future that the trouble began. In reality, the Crystal hid itself within her. It will reveal itself when it is needed the most.
In the meantime, though, Rini happens to wander outside the protection of the Crystal Palace. The Wise Man seizes the opportunity to kidnap her. The Wise Man proceeds to probe Rini's memories, picking out those where Rini felt betrayed. The Wise Man made those memories stand out, ultimately turning her against her mother and the Sailor Scouts. Thus, The Wise Man turns Rini into the Wicked Lady.
The Wicked Lady
A side effect of the Wise Man's transformation of Rini is her sudden aging into a young lady. Fully under the control of the Wise Man, the Wicked Lady is just that: wicked. She hates the Sailor Scouts and seeks their destruction and that of Tokyo using the power of the Black Crystal. The Wise Man sends the Wicked Lady into the past to accomplish what the Dark Moon Family could not, and the Sailor Scouts are forced to follow.
Sailor Moon desperately tries to make the real Rini re-emerge, but the Wise Man's hold is very strong and boosted by the negative energy coursing through her. It will take a bold gamble on the part of Sailor Moon to free Rini from the grip of the Wise Man.

Little Rini uses this little trick on several occasions in order to get what she wants.
She dribbles her Luna Ball on the ground like a basketball and says, "Kitty Magic!" The ball bounces high into the air. Then, the ball turns into whatever Rini wants.
Crystal Time Key
Given to her by Sailor Pluto, this was the means by which Rini was sent into the past. Used properly and with moderation, it can send a person backwards or forwards in time. However, with her own future in the balance bacause of her efforts in the past, she can't return to the future just yet, and one time, when she tries to use it, it cancels gravity in a department store instead.
Sailor Chibi-Moon
***Rini's real name is actually Serena, but, so you don't confuse the two, she likes to be called Rini. In Sailor Moon R (the second season in Japan), Rini goes back to find the Imperium Silver Crystal, to try to save Crystal Tokyo and her mother. In Sailor Moon S (the third season in Japan), Rini comes back to begin her training as the Sailor Scout of the future moon. She can be really annoying, but, deep down, she really cares for the Scouts, especially Serena.

Rini says this to use her Moon Rod. The attack usually causes only small fireworks (in the shape of hearts) to come out of the end, mainly used to distract enemies.
